1° Paso. INICIO:
¿Cuándo se usa la voz pasiva en inglés?
Podemos recurrir a la voz pasiva por varios motivos:
1. Cuando estamos más interesados en la persona o cosa que recibe la acción que en la persona o cosa que realiza la acción.
Observa estas dos frases. La frase A es pasiva, y la B es activa:
A. Romeo & Juliet was written by William Shakespeare (Romeo y Julieta fue escrito por William Shakespeare).
B. Shakespeare wrote Romeo & Juliet (Shakespeare escribió Romeo y Julieta).
Ejemplos:
He will call me back = Me va a volver a hablar
I won’t go with you because I have a lot of work = No iré contigo porque tengo mucho trabajo
Will you cover my expenses = ¿Puedes cubrir mis gastos?

The modal verbs use the passive voice the same way that all other tenses in English do. An Active sentence with a modal verb can be
changed into a Passive sentence by making the subject of the active sentence the object of the passive sentence AND the object of
the active sentence the subject of the passive sentence. For example:
* DESARROLLO. 2° Paso.
The basic meaning of these sentences is the same; only the "voice" is different. In other words, the focus changes from the subject

unknown, unimportant, a secret, a deception (a lie)

* INICIO.
A good argumentative essay will use facts and evidence to support the argument, rather than just the author’s thoughts and
opinions. For example, say you wanted to write an argumentative essay stating that Puebla City is a great destination for families.
You couldn’t just say that it’s a great place because you took your family there and enjoyed it. For it to be an argumentative essay,
you need to have facts and data to support your argument, such as the number of child-friendly attractions in Puebla, special deals
you can get with kids, and surveys of people who visited Puebla city as a family and enjoyed it.

How to Write a Movie Review: A Comprehensive Guide
Writing a movie review is an engaging process that combines film criticism, analysis, and personal opinion to create an informative
and thought-provoking piece. A well-crafted review not only serves as a helpful guide for potential viewers but also deepens our
understanding of the cinematic experience. In this article, we will explore the essentials of review writing, focusing on crucial
elements such as plot summary, thesis, opinion, characters, cinematography, and more.
Your thesis is the central idea or argument that you will explore in your movie review. This main point should be clear and focused,
serving as the backbone of your critique. Consider what themes or aspects of the film stood out to you, and build your thesis around
these observations.
A comprehensive movie review requires a detailed examination of various aspects of the film. Study the director’s choices, the music
and sound design, and the technical elements such as craftsmanship and artistry. This thorough scrutiny will help you provide a well-
rounded critique that captures the essence of the movie.
