Dear Parents and Guardians, October 4, 2021

Attached to this is a copy of a newsletter given to your students about “Chatting Online

Safely” With the use of technology increasing in the classroom, our students will be using tablets,

computers, iPhones, and iPad’s to complete educational assignments and activities. As educators

and parents, we want to ensure our students are protected when online and using the technology

safely. Our students are expected to be kind to others, respectful to themselves and report any

misuse of the technology to a trusted teacher and/or adult. Within the newsletter we have given a

few tips that we encourage you to go over with your students. As teachers and parents/guardians

we need to work together to keep our students safe online and off. Let’s keep our children educated

about online safety!

Se adjunta a esto una copia de un boletín informativo que se les entrega a sus estudiantes sobre

"Conversar en línea de manera segura". Con el uso de la tecnología en aumento en el aula, nuestros

estudiantes usarán tabletas, computadoras, iPhones y iPad para completar las tareas y actividades

educativas. Como educadores y padres, queremos asegurarnos de que nuestros estudiantes estén
protegidos cuando estén en línea y usen la tecnología de manera segura. Se espera que nuestros

estudiantes sean amables con los demás, respetuosos con ellos mismos y denuncien cualquier uso

indebido de la tecnología a un maestro y / o adulto de confianza. Dentro del boletín, hemos dado

algunos consejos que le animamos a que los lea con sus alumnos. Como maestros y padres /

tutores, debemos trabajar juntos para mantener a nuestros estudiantes seguros en línea y fuera de

ella. ¡Mantengamos a nuestros hijos informados sobre la seguridad en línea!
