Dear Parents and Guardians,

In today’s time and age, technology is used all around us, especially in the classroom for

homework assignments and extended research at home. With the use of technology being at such

a heightened amount now, it is extremely beneficial for students to be aware of how to safely

communicate and navigate on the Internet. With that being said, I have attached our newsletter

regarding a topic of digital citizenship. For the students to be good digital citizens, they must be

aware of what they are doing, while also remaining safe. The newsletter highlights the key points

of remaining safe while navigating through the Internet, and also explains how important it is to

keep an adult aware of what you are doing while on the Internet. With the help of all teachers,

parents, and guardians, let’s keep those children safe while venturing through the world wide

web!

Estimados padres y tutores,

 En la época actual, la tecnología se utiliza a nuestro alrededor, especialmente en el aula

para tareas e investigación extendida en el hogar. Con el uso de la tecnología en una cantidad tan

elevada ahora, es extremadamente beneficioso para los estudiantes ser conscientes de cómo

comunicarse y navegar de manera segura en Internet. Dicho esto, he adjuntado nuestro boletín

sobre un tema de ciudadanía digital. Para que los estudiantes sean buenos ciudadanos digitales,

deben ser conscientes de lo que están haciendo, al mismo tiempo que se mantienen seguros. El

boletín destaca los puntos clave para mantenerse seguro mientras navega por Internet, y también

explica lo importante que es mantener a un adulto al tanto de lo que está haciendo mientras está

en Internet. Con la ayuda de todos los maestros, padres y tutores, ¡mantengamos a esos niños

seguros mientras se aventuran a través de la red mundial!
