Parents and Guardians, June 3, 2023

Attached to this letter is an infographic that is explaining what a digital footprint is, and

the importance of keeping a strong digital footprint. Students have also received a copy of the

same infographic to look over for themselves. With the changes in technology, we have seen in

just the last few years, we will be using computers, smartphones, tablets, etc. to assist in

educational activities in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom. It is important that

students are aware that what and how they use technology can follow them forever, and as

parents and educators we want to ensure that the students are being responsible about how they

use technology. Together, we can help ensure our students are leaving the right mark on

technology.

Adjunto a esta carta hay una infografía que explica qué es una huella digital y la

importancia de mantener una huella digital sólida. Los estudiantes también han recibido una

copia de la misma infografía para que la revisen por sí mismos. Con los cambios en la tecnología
que hemos visto en los últimos años, usaremos computadoras, teléfonos inteligentes, tabletas,

etc. para ayudar en las actividades educativas en el salón de clases y fuera del salón de clases. Es

importante que los estudiantes sepan que qué y cómo usan la tecnología puede seguirlos para

siempre, y como padres y educadores queremos asegurarnos de que los estudiantes sean

responsables de cómo usan la tecnología. Juntos, podemos ayudar a garantizar que nuestros

estudiantes dejen la marca correcta en tecnología.
