Attached to this letter is a copy of an infographic that has been given to your students

about the importance and “Power of Digital Footprints.” With the uprising use of technology

inside and outside of the classroom, students need to begin understanding what their digital

footprint is, how they can maintain an appropriate digital footprint, and the possible

consequences that may arise if they create an inappropriate digital footprint. As educators and

parents, we want to ensure our students are practicing safe and appropriate conduct on the

internet. As a digital citizen, students are expected to conduct themselves appropriately, keeping

in mind that their activity on the internet has the ability to help or harm them. Within the

infographic are tips that encourage your involvement in the process of stressing the importance

of this topic as well. Teachers and parents/guardians work as a team to keep our students safe

and educated, on and offline!

 Se adjunta a esta carta una copia de una infografía que se les ha dado a sus estudiantes

sobre la importancia y el "poder de las huellas digitales". Con el aumento del uso de la

tecnología dentro y fuera del aula, los estudiantes deben comenzar a comprender cuál es su

huella digital, cómo pueden mantener una huella digital adecuada y las posibles consecuencias

que pueden surgir si crean una huella digital inapropiada. Como educadores y padres, queremos

asegurarnos de que nuestros estudiantes practiquen una conducta segura y apropiada en Internet.

Como ciudadano digital, se espera que los estudiantes se comporten adecuadamente, teniendo en

cuenta que su actividad en Internet tiene la capacidad de ayudarlos o perjudicarlos. Dentro de la

infografía hay consejos que alientan su participación en el proceso de enfatizar la importancia de

este tema también. ¡Los maestros y los padres/tutores trabajan en equipo para mantener a

nuestros estudiantes seguros y educados, en línea y fuera de línea!
