Dear Families, October 17, 2022

Attached to this letter is a copy of a newsletter that has been given to your child about

staying safe online. Our students have more access to the internet and devices than we did, so it

is important that we learn ways to keep safe online and teach them as soon as we can. Our school

allows students to bring and use devices such as tablets and computers, so we took some time

today to go over how to be safe while using them. Within the newsletter are videos, games, and

tips for staying safe online for both you and your child. Please take some time to go through this

with them, because staying safe in the digital world is as important as staying safe in the real

world. Thank you for working with me on this topic and helping me keeps our students safe!

Se adjunta a esta carta una copia de un boletín que se le ha dado a su hijo sobre cómo mantenerse

seguro en línea. Nuestros estudiantes tienen más acceso a Internet y dispositivos que nosotros,

por lo que es importante que aprendamos formas de mantenernos seguros en línea y enseñarles

tan pronto como podamos. Nuestra escuela permite a los estudiantes traer y usar dispositivos
como tabletas y computadoras, por lo que hoy nos tomamos un tiempo para repasar cómo estar

seguros mientras los usamos. Dentro del boletín hay videos, juegos y consejos para mantenerse

seguro en línea tanto para usted como para su hijo. Por favor, tómese un tiempo para pasar por

esto con ellos, porque mantenerse seguro en el mundo digital es tan importante como mantenerse

seguro en el mundo real. ¡Gracias por trabajar conmigo en este tema y ayudarme a mantener

seguros a nuestros estudiantes!
