Dear Parents and Guardians, October 17, 2022

Attached to this letter is a copy of an infographic that has been given to your students

about being safe online "Privacy and Security.” As technology use in the classroom grows,

students will use tablets or iPads to complete educational activities. We want to make sure that

our students are using technology properly as students and parents. As parents and teachers, we

want to make sure that while our students are online they are safe. Since more young individuals

are using the internet, we want to make sure our students are using the internet the correct way.

Kids who use the internet can learn, interact with others, and express themselves, among other

things. However, given how much time kids spend in front of their screens, there are inherent

risks. It's important to teach your child internet safety and to be aware of the warning signs of

possible threats to their online safety. Our students' online safety is a team effort between

teachers, parents, and guardians. Lets keep our students safe!

Adjunto a esta carta hay una copia de una infografía que se les ha dado a sus estudiantes sobre la

seguridad en línea "Privacidad y seguridad". A medida que crece el uso de la tecnología en el

aula, los estudiantes usarán tabletas o iPads para completar actividades educativas. Queremos

asegurarnos de que nuestros estudiantes usen la tecnología correctamente como estudiantes y

padres. Como padres y maestros, queremos asegurarnos de que mientras nuestros estudiantes

están en línea, están seguros. Dado que más jóvenes están usando Internet, queremos asegurarnos

de que nuestros estudiantes estén usando Internet de la manera correcta. Los niños que usan
