Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Attached is an info graph that is posted on our classroom wall about the importance of

online safety. Being safe online is an important topic to educate all students on because there

are many different outcomes that can arise from not protecting personal information online. As

teachers and caregivers our main concern is keeping our children safe online. In staying safe

online, students will often be reminded to never give out personal information, never

download anything without permission from an adult, inform a grownup if they receive any

suspicious or mean messages, and never chat with people who you don’t know online. Please

look over the infographic to see how you can help keep them safe online while at home. Thank

Inglés Estimados padres y cuidadores,

Se adjunta un gráfico informativo que se publica en la pared de nuestra aula sobre la

importancia de la seguridad en línea. Estar seguro en línea es un tema importante para educar

a todos los estudiantes porque hay muchos resultados diferentes que pueden surgir de no

proteger la información personal en línea. Como maestros y cuidadores, nuestra principal

preocupación es mantener a nuestros niños seguros en línea. Al mantenerse seguros en línea, a

menudo se les recordará a los estudiantes que nunca den información personal, nunca

descarguen nada sin el permiso de un adulto, informen a un adulto si reciben mensajes

sospechosos o malos, y nunca chateen con personas que no conoce en línea. Por favor, revise la

infografía para ver cómo puede ayudar a mantenerlos seguros en línea mientras están en casa.
