Introducción
• la OPS/OMS recomienda realizar un mínimo de ocho controles prenatales para reducir la mortalidad perinatal y
mejorar la experiencia de la atención de la mujer.

• Ginebra 2022, unas 303000 mujeres fallecieron por causas relacionadas con el embarazo, 2,7 millones de niños
fallecieron durante los primeros 28 días de vida

• Cáceres publicó acerca de la cobertura de la atención prenatal en América Latina: Bolivia con una cobertura
menor al 50%, Venezuela con el 72% y Colombia con el 81%, mientras que en Chile, Cuba, República
Dominicana y Puerto Rico las coberturas de atención prenatal son superiores al 90 %.

• Flores (2022) realizo un estudio en el Sector Valparaiso – Caracas menos del 50% de las mujeres entre 18 a 40
años presentaron un adecuado conocimiento sobre el concepto y actividades de la atención prenatal

• En el ámbito regional, Solado. (2023) llevó a cabo un estudio titulado Factores que contribuyen al control
prenatal tardío en mujeres en edades entre 15 y 45 años
• La Comunidad El Yabal ubicada en la zona noroeste de la ciudad de Carora cuenta con una población de 1074
habitantes, predominando el sexo femenino en un 51,2% de las cuales el 43,6% lo constituyen las mujeres en
edades comprendidas de 15 a 45 años.

• En las historias de salud familiar del Consultorio Médico Zona Centro se ha evidenciado casos de niños entre 0
y 1 año de edad que presentan bajo peso o de partos prematuros que pudieran estar asociados a madres que

En virtud de las situaciones planteadas se originan las siguientes interrogantes:

prenatal?

- ¿Será necesario implementar un programa de intervención educativa sobre la importancia del control prenatal a
las embarazadas de la Comunidad El Yabal del municipio Torres estado Lara
Objetivos
Objetivo general
- Ejecutar un Plan de Intervención Educativa para promover la asistencia de las Embarazadas
de la Comunidad El Yabal, municipio Torres estado Lara al Control Prenatal.

Objetivos específicos
- Caracterizar el grupo de embarazadas de la Comunidad El Yabal del municipio Torres estado
Lara
- Identificar los factores asociados a la falta de asistencia al control de las embarazadas de la
Comunidad El Yabal, en el municipio Torres estado Lara
- Diseñar un Plan de Intervención Educativa para promover la asistencia de las Embarazadas
de la Comunidad El Yabal, municipio Torres estado Lara al Control Prenatal
Diseño Metodologico
Tipo de Estudio: estará basado en una investigación de campo

Diseño: se enmarcará en un estudio transversal

Lugar: Comunidad El Yabal, municipio Torres estado Lara

Universo: población total de 240 mujeres representando el 43.6%.

Muestra: contemplara aquellas mujeres que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión y
exclusión definidos
Para la recolección de datos de este estudio se pondrán en práctica
