El plagio es un acto de apropiación indebida de
propiedades intelectuales, textos académicos,
métodos investigativos, gráficos e ideas, así como
la fabricación y falsificación de información, que en
la ética de las publicaciones científicas se clasifican
como un tipo de mala conducta científica.

evidencia un aumento de casos de plagio al momento de analizar
los trabajos académicos, tesis, trabajos de fin de grado, tesis y
disertaciones cuando se utilizan software antiplagio.
 Ejemplo 1 de Plagio.

En 2014, Gerd Müller, de la Unión Social Cristiana fue

acusado de plagio por el llamado cazador de plagiarios
Martin Heidingsfelder. Lo curioso es que su tesis doctoral
tiene más de 25 años, lo cual no le libró de una
investigación por parte de la Universidad de Ratisbona.
Por su parte, la ministra Annette Schavan, aliada y amiga
personal de Angela Merkel, renunció a la cartera de
Educación al descubrirse que había plagiado. No han sido
los únicos. En este reportaje titulado Doctores en plagios
hay una amplia lista de copiones bien documentada.
 Ejemplo 2 de plagio
Al parecer el músico Jesse Graham demandó a la famosa cantante
por haber copiado un fragmento de su canción “Haters Gonna
Hate”, por lo que pide aproximadamente $42 millones de dólares
por el uso repetido del coro que se volvió tan famoso.
