Es un síntoma que puede presentarse como manifestación de muchas patologías y originarse en estructuras torácicas o extrator ácicas.
Las principales causas de arritmias: Coronariopatías, Cardiopatías, Estenosis mitral, Hipertiroidismo, Embolismo pulmonar,
Infecciones sistémicas, Medicamentos.
DATOS SALIENTES DE LA ANAMNESIS : DISNEA
Es una sensación subjetiva, referida como “falta de aire”, “fatiga” o “dificultad para respirar”
Afecciones respiratorias (asma, EPOC, fibrosis pulmonar, neumonía, atelectasia, derrame pleural,
cifoescoliosis).
Anemia
Psicogénica (neurosis de ansiedad, angustia). Otras causas: obesidad, ascitis, meteorismo, etc.
DATOS SALIENTES DE LA ANAMNESIS: DISNEA
Tanto la American Thoracic Society como la European Respiratory Society han subrayado el carácter multidimensional de la disnea, que comprende
3 dimensiones básicas:
Disnea de esfuerzo
Disnea Ortopnea

Pulsaciones normales y
Ginecomastia Circulacion venosa colateral

GRADUACIÓN DE LA FALLA CARDÍACA
Clasificación funcional de la New York Heart Asociación, basada en la gravedad de los síntomas y
la actividad física.
CLASE I No hay limitación de la actividad física. La actividad física ordinaria no provoca disnea, fatiga o palpitaciones
palpitaciones.
Ligera limitación de la actividad física. Se siente cómodo en reposo, pero la actividad física ordinaria provoca

disnea, fatiga o palpitaciones.
CLASE III Marcada limitación de la actividad física. Se siente cómodo en reposo, pero una actividad inferior a la ordinaria
provoca disnea, fatiga o palpitaciones.
CLASE IV Imposibilidad de realizar cualquier actividad física sin molestias. Puede haber síntomas en reposo. Si se realiza
cualquier actividad física, las molestias aumentan.
