Paralisis cerebral
La paralisis cerebral es un grupo de trastorno del desarrollo, del
movimiento y la postura, con limitacion de la actividad y como
resultado de una lesion no progresiva que ocurre en el cerebro del
feto, durante el parto o los primeros dos anos de vida .
Los trastornos motores de la PC estan acompanados de
alteraciones de la sensibilidad, la cognicion, la
comunicacion, la percepcion, el comportamiento y epilepsia.

La paralisis cerebral es la discapacidad fisica mas


frecuente en la infancia
Factores de riesgo

Prenatal: hypoxia, rubeoloa, exposicion a rayos x y


diabetes.

Perinatales: desprendimiento de la placenta, prematuridad,


anoxia o trauma.

Post natales: enfermedades infecciosas, accidente


cardiovascular, meningitis o encephalitis.

Bajo peso : <1.500 g


Prematuro: <32 semanas.
Necesidad de ventilacion

Etiologia
