Asignar la edad gestacional: según fecha de última menstruación (FUM) y
ecografía precoz (primer trimestre con medición de la longitud embrionaria
máxima si ésta es menor a 84mm).
Si la diferencia entre ambas es mayor o igual a 5 días, la edad gestacional se
consignará según la ecografía precoz.
•De no contarse con ecografía precoz se datará la gestación según biometría
cefálica.
•Determinar cantidad de fetos .
•En caso de embarazo múltiple, consignar amnionicidad y corionicidad, de ser
posible.
•Determinar vitalidad y estática fetal.

1. Debe incluir:
•Diámetro Biparietal (DBP).
•Circunferencia Cefálica
•Circunferencia AbdominaL.
•Longitud Fémur
•Peso Fetal Estimado (Optativo antes
de las 24 semanas).
2. Cada dato se informará de forma
independientemente.

EVALUACIÓN DE LÍQUIDO
AMNIÓTICO
1. Se efectuará de forma subjetiva.
2. Ante la sospecha de una cantidad
inadecuada se sugiere confirmar con los
métodos semicuantitativos de bolsillo
vertical máximo, ó índice de líquido
amniótico (correlacionado con percentil
para la edad gestacional), informándose el
valor.

PLACENTA
1. Se determinará la localización de la
placenta, referida a la cara uterina que
ocupa.
2. Se informará su relación con el orificio
cervical interno.
a. Se considera inserción baja cuando la
distancia entre el polo inferior de la
placenta y el OCI es menor a 20mm.

a. Se considera placenta previa si el
polo inferior placentario contacta o
sobrepasa al OCI.
b. Ante estas situaciones se reevaluará a
las 30 semanas por vía transvaginal.
3. Se debe consignar la ecoestructura como
homogénea o heterogénea.

CORDÓN UMBILICAL
1. Número de vasos. En cordón libre
(corte axial), o con Doppler color para
visualizar el ingreso y la bifurcación en
la región paravesical.
2. Se recomienda descartar Vasa Previa
mediante el examen del OCI, o
verificando la inserción del cordón en
la placenta. En ambos casos la
utilización del Doppler Color puede
facilitar la tarea.

1.- Aparato Cardiovascular:
1a. Situs abdominal y cardíaco.
1b. Corte de 4 cámaras constatando:
• Región retrocardíaca (arteria aorta descendente).
• Relación cardiotorácica.
• Eje cardíaco.
• Identificación de las 4 cavidades, verificando su
simetría.
•Inserción diferencial de las válvulas AV (cruz
cardíaca).
•Ingreso de por lo menos 2 venas pulmonares a la
aurícula izquierda.
•Descartar derrame pericárdico.

• Tracto de salida del ventrículo
izquierdo (continuidad septo-
aórtica).
• Tracto de salida del ventrículo
