Good afternoon Lic. Bedoya and colleagues contributing to the participation of the
colleague Sharon Pineda, it is important to know and identify what we want to
make others understand and thus prepare sentences that contain the required
grammatical content.

Una oración es una unidad de sentido que expresa una coherencia completa, es
decir, es una unidad sintáctica con sentido. Por ejemplo: El juez dictó su
sentencia. Una oración puede estar escrita o enunciada oralmente.
We can also say that the sentence is the "set of words that expresses a judgment
with meaning and syntactic autonomy." Its purpose is to highlight the fact that the
sentence, practically or pragmatically, is the smallest fragment of discourse that
communicates a complete idea and has autonomy and independence (that is, it
could be taken out of context and still communicate).
Las partes básicas de una oración en ingles son el sujeto, el verbo y (a menudo,
pero no siempre) el objeto. El sujeto suele ser un sustantivo, una palabra que
nombra a una persona, lugar o cosa. El verbo (o predicado) generalmente sigue al
sujeto e identifica una acción o un estado del ser.
The basic parts of an English sentence are the subject, the verb, and (often, but
not always) the object. The subject is usually a noun, a word that names a person,
place, or thing. The verb (or predicate) generally follows the subject and identifies
an action or state of being.
