Hello. I am Sheila. I am from Tarapoto. I am a
student. In Tarapoto, people celebrate “Fiesta de
San Juan” in June. They dance around “Yunzas”.
They go to salsa concerts. My family and I eat
“Juane” in the Juane Festival. I don’t go to
concert, but I dance around Yunzas.
Hi. I am Marco. I am from Chimbote. I am a student
too. In Chimbote, people celebrate “San Pedrito” in
June. They don’t dance around “Yunzas”. They go to
salsa concerts. My family and I eat “chancho al palo”
in Vivero. I go to the fair, but I don’t dance around
Yunzas.

Como puedes observar en el ejemplo arriba Marco escucha a Sheila mencionar las
actividades que ella y las personas hacen en Iquitos por la fiesta de San Juan. Luego el
expresa las actividades que el su familia y las personas hacen en Chimbote, pero al
contrastar expresa las actividades que él no hace en Chimbote. Utilizando en auxiliar
DON’T (no) delante del verbo para negar dichas acciones. La estructura es la que sigue.
