VEGETABLE EXTRACTS.

INTRODUCTION.
The plant extracts are the product of macerating a plant in a
solvent, due to the maceration the active ingredients of the plant
are exposed and used according to the need.
There are solid, aqueous, oily extracts, solvents such as alcohol,
glycerin or oil can be used.
The extracts may have culinary, therapeutic or repellent purposes.
Plant extracts have been used as pests repellents in crops or as
beneficial insect attractants.
INTRODUCCIÓN.
Los extractos vegetales son el producto de macerar una planta en
un disolvente, debido a la maceración los ingredientes activos de
la planta se exponen y se emplean según la necesidad.
Hay extractos solidos, acuosos, aceitosos, se pueden usar
solventes como alcohol, glicerina o aceite. Los extractos pueden
tener finalidades culinarias, terapéuticas o como repelentes.
OBJECTIVES.
• Publicize the plant extracts used in agriculture.
• Identify its use (repellent or attractant)
• To make known the preparation of the extract and which solvent
was used.
• Test the effectiveness of different extracts in the field.
OBJETIVOS.
• Dar a conocer los extractos vegetales usados en la agricultura.
• Identificar su uso.(repelente o atrayente).
• Dar a conocer la preparación del extracto y que solvente se
utilizó.
• Probar en campo la eficacia de diversos extractos.
THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK.

• The preparation of the extracts will be carried out in the

laboratory of microbiology of the University of Los Llanos, the
collection of the plants will be done to then macerate them and
engage in amber vessels, the tests will be done on the farm of
the university and will be evaluated if the extract is repellent or
attractant.
MARCO TEORICO.

• La preparación de los extractos se llevará a cabo en el

laboratorio de microbiología de la universidad de los llanos, se
hará la recolección de las plantas para después macerarlas y
enfrascar en vasos ámbar, las pruebas se harán en la granja de la
universidad y se evaluará si el extracto es repelente o a traedor.
