ÁREA DE INGLÉS COMO LENGUA EXTRANJERA


I. FUNDAMENTACION:

El idioma inglés es uno de los más hablados en el mundo y ha logrado convertirse en una
Lengua internacional utilizada en diversos ámbitos. Es llamada lengua franca debido a su uso
Como vehículo de comunicación entre un gran número de hablantes de otras lenguas, lo
que ha acortado brechas entre países a nivel mundial.
La importancia del aprendizaje del idioma inglés es reconocida ya que se lo considera una
herramienta de comunicación global que facilita el acceso a la información y a las tecnologías
de vanguardia. El dominio del idioma inglés permite conectarse con diversas realidades y
contextos ampliando el acceso a mejores oportunidades académicas, tecnológicas, científicas,
culturales y laborales.
En el área de Inglés trabajaremos por módulos considerando como guía el libro PRIME TIME 1,
VIRGINIAEVANS_JENNY DOOLEY, ncorporando las
prácticas sociales del lenguaje y la perspectiva sociocultural al promover y facilitar que los
estudiantes desarrollen las siguientes competencias:
• Se comunica oralmente en inglés como lengua extranjera.

• Lee diversos tipos de textos escritos en inglés como lengua extranjera.

• Escribe diversos tipos de textos en inglés como lengua extranjera.

II. OBJETIVOS

Al final del curso 1 del Nivel Básico el alumnado es capaz de: Comprensión auditiva

 Comprender conversaciones muy breves sobre asuntos cotidianos o personales (saludos,


despedidas, presentaciones, agradecimientos y disculpas), instrucciones e indicaciones
sencillas.
 Comprender lo más relevante de lo que se dice en gestiones básicas (hacer compras,
inscribirse en un curso, registrarse en un hotel).
 Captar lo más relevante de anuncios y mensajes breves. Comprensión lectora
 Comprender notas, mensajes personales cortos (SMS, correos electrónicos, postales) y anuncios
públicos "Se vende".
Comprender y extraer la información global y específica predecible de textos muy breves con un
vocabulario frecuente.
 Comprender información, instrucciones e indicaciones muy básicas breves y frecuentes en
lugares públicos (letreros y carteles en calles, tiendas, restaurantes y medios de
transporte).
 Expresión oral o Utilizar fórmulas habituales de cortesía (saludar, despedirse,
presentar, agradecer, disculparse, interesarse por personas).
 Elaborar texto con los temas desarrollados durante los módulos.
 Redactar texto con las rutinas diarias, escribir cartas utilizando la gramática enseñada.

MODULO N°1

STARTER; PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD

I. Description

En este primer módulo titulado STARTER; PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD, se sustenta en el enfoque
comunicativo incorporando las prácticas sociales del lenguaje y la perspectiva sociocultural. Es
comunicativo porque parte de situaciones auténticas de comunicación para desarrollar competencias
comunicativas a través de las cuales los estudiantes comprenden y producen textos orales y escritos de
distinto tipo, formato y género textual, con diferentes propósitos, en variados soportes, incluyendo los
audiovisuales y virtuales.

La utilización de las TICs e en el área de Inglés son de vital importancia, ya que ayudarán a manera
trascendental a lograr un aprendizaje significativo y que los alumnos alcances a desarrollar capacidades
en el uso de la lengua, es decir, que aprendan a leer y entender lo que leen, que aprendan a redactar y
que aprendan a expresarse oralmente.
II. Activities:
El modulo se desarrollaran de manera virtual, con participación activa de todos los estudiantes,
video conferencias, presentación de trabajos en forma individual, videos llamadas a través del
whatapp, evaluaciones formativas, etc.
