En un mundo contemporáneo, donde los derechos humanos, la no discriminación y la igualdad son

banderas a seguir sin duda alguna, pensar en reyes, duques y barones y esa distinción que resulta
siemore incómoda entre nobles y plebeyos. Evidentemente las monarquías, como forma pura de
gobierno, dio lugar a la forma impura: la tiranía, dando lugar a los escenarios más cruentos de la
historia. Representan la arcaica, absoleta y anacrónica idea de la existencia de dos tipos de seres
humanos: los que pertenecen a las monarquias y los que no.

Hablar de la nobleza, o de la “familia real” es hoy en día, denigrante para la especie humana. No existen
los seres humanos “especiales”, los caracteres hereditarios no justifican forma alguna de poder. Ni
siquiera el argumento de que “la monarquía es un componente de la tradición” es válido. Deben
mantenerse las tradiciones que unen, no las que segregan.
