ORIENTACIONES GENERALES:
Estimado estudiante, la presente guía didáctica se realiza con el propósito de orientarles nuevos
conocimientos y dinamizar los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje en la asignatura de inglés
por medio del desarrollo de las competencias específicas.

METODOLOGÍA:

leerlo y traducirlo para permitir su fácil comprensión. Después, te encontrarás algunos
preguntas s que te ayudarán a incrementar el interés por aprender un nuevo idioma y la
asimilación de la respectiva temática. En caso de alguna duda, estaremos en contacto por el
celular que aparece en la parte superior de la guía.

WHO - QUIEN ….. ( personas . )

Este pronombre se usa únicamente para referirse a personas. Puede ejercer la función de
sujeto o de objeto de la oración.

1 -The woman who works at my office is very efficient.

2 -Mark’s brother, who is 18, has just started University.

WHICH – EL CUAL- LA CUAL - LOS CUALES - LAS CUALES

Al contrario que who, este pronombre solo sirve para cosas y animales. También
puede ser el sujeto o el objeto de la oración.

3 -The book which I read last week is very interesting.

4- The cat, which is very friendly, is called Tom.

THAT - QUE ( PERSONAS O COSAS ) que de respuesta no de pregunta

Este es un pronombre que puede aplicarse tanto para referirse a personas como cosas.
Por lo tanto, podrás usarlo para sustituir tanto who como which si el contexto lo permite.

5- The woman that works at my office is very efficient.

6- The book that I read last week is very interesting.

WHOSE- CUYO- CUYA- CUYOS- CUYAS .

Por último, tenemos el pronombre whose, que no debemos confundir con who ya que
ejerce la función de posesivo. Para identificarlo mejor, piensa que en castellano se
traduciría como cuyo, cuya, cuyos o cuyas:

Cats Make Wonderful Pets!

There are certain points to consider before you decide to get a cat.
First of all, be prepared to spend time with your cat. Although cats
don't have a closer relationship with humans than most other pets,
they still require attention and care. Cats have their own different
characters and their own special habits and choices. It is a good idea
to prepare yourself with some basic knowledge about cats before you
get one.

As distant as they may be. cats really love to play. But cats usually
don’t fetch like dogs; don't just throw a ball at your cat and expect it to
be entertained. Cats like to be spoiled by humans. They like to have
“communication" with you. Spend time playing and having contact
with your cat.

Cats show their love to you not only through making their typical
sounds, but also by touching your arms, legs, or
another part of your body. If you are new to cats and you don’t know
this, you may think they want to hurt you. However, it is just friendly
play.

They probably love to see what is going on around them more than
other pets. They do this by jumping to high places like a sofa,
cupboard, or table to keep an eye on you and what you're doing.

Cats love to have sharp nails, so buying a cushion for your cat will
keep your furniture safe. In order to avoid any damage, keep your
cat’s nails short and train it to use the cushion. This will save you
money and lots of headaches in the future.
