ONE OF MY FAVOURITE RECIPES

This is one of my favourite dishes. You don’t need to be a

good cook to make it because it’s very easy. Those of you
who don’t like eating meat all the time will really like it and
it doesn’t cost a lot of money to make. Make sure you have
the following ingredients before you start: small, brown
lentils, two or three big onions, a red pepper, a tin of
tomatoes, garlic and chillies. Make sure you don’t put too
many chillies in because they are spicy. Also, remember
that you will need a big spoon of natural yoghurt or cream
cheese at the end.

This is what you do: First, put the lentils in a pan of boiling
water and cook until they are soft. This takes about thirty or
forty minutes. After about fifteen or twenty minutes, you
may need to add some more boiling water. When you do
this, be careful. While the lentils are cooking, chop the
onions and pepper and fry them in a little oil. Cook them
until the onions are soft and a little bit brown. Chop the
garlic and chillies and add them to the onion. Check that
you don’t burn them. When the lentils are ready, add them
to the onion and pepper mixture. Then, mix in the tin of
tomatoes, add a little water and cook gently for another
fifteen minutes. I like serving the lentils with a spoon of
yoghurt, but not everyone does this. Delicious!

My graduation dance

That night was unforgettable. It was 4 years ago. I went with my

classmates to the Restobar Monkey Club. That day I put on my best suit,
which my godfather gave me the day before. I got there early and I was
with my best friends taking pictures of us. I remember meeting my best
friend's brother. It was fun.
Then, we had baked chicken at the big table. It was delicious. We have a
soda after eating.
In the end, we left with my parents and my godfather around 2:00 am. It
was a great night of fun. We talked a lot about that time.
