El Currículo como sistema
El currículo consiste en los medios para poner en marcha ciertos propósitos determinados del proceso escolar... cada
educando tiene un currículo propio e individual» (Kung, 1971).
«El currículo se compone de contenidos, métodos de enseñanza y finalidades. Estas tres dimensiones en interacción
constituyen el currículo operacional»
(Tyler, 1973). •    
«El currículo constituye un recurso metodológico que representa las relaciones entre un conjunto de elementos que se
encuentran vinculados en función de un determinado explícito objetivo, que tiene sentido en función de la contextualidad
histórica que sirve de base» (Guedez, 1989).
¿QUE SON LAS COMPETENCIAS Y CUAL ES SU IMPORTANCIA
EN EL AMBITO EDUCATIVO?
COMPETENCIA: Conjunto de conocimientos, actitudes,
disposiciones y habilidades (cognitivas, socio-afectivas y
comunicativas), relacionadas entre sí para facilitar el desempeño
flexible y con sentido de una actividad en contextos relativamente
nuevos y retadores. Por lo tanto, la competencia implica conocer,
ser y saber hacer. (Ministerio de educación nacional )

Es de vita importancia El aprendizaje por competencias, ya que hace que


nuestros estudiantes sean capaces de llevar el conocimiento a la realidad
que les rodea, que aprendan de manera práctica los propios contenidos
teóricos que les corresponda en todas las áreas.

ENTIENDE?
Es la acción de elaborar un plan curricular seleccionando
los contenidos curriculares esenciales que permitan al
profesional egresado no solo Vivir en la sociedad, sino
desempeñarse adecuadamente en ella. Para tal efecto,
dicha actividad debe realizarse identificando y
seleccionando cuidadosamente los contenidos de
aprendizaje cognitivos, procedimentales y actitudinales
básicos y necesarios. Asimismo, han de tomarse en cuenta
las competencias exigidas por el sector productivo o ámbito
laboral respecto a determinadas profesiones, los problemas
actuales de la sociedad en la que se desarrolla el plan
curricular y que merecen investigarse con prioridad, así
como la estandarización de los procesos de enseñanza —
aprendizaje. (García y Tobón - 2008).
IMPORTANCIA
la importancia que trae consigo la aplicación de este tipo de diseño curricular en una institución educativa universitaria:

- El plan curricular tiene una tendencia hacia la innovación constante.

- La innovación de la programación del plan curricular surge desde el interior de la realidad social, económica y cultural
inmediata y no es impuesta de arriba hacia abajo por “expertos” o “modelos” ajenos a la realidad misma en donde se desarrolla el
plan curricular.

- La elaboración del plan curricular compromete a todas las autoridades, docentes, alumnos, administrativos de la institución
educativa y a los miembros representativos del sector productivo.

-La acción de diseñar un plan curricular expresa la aplicación de una real educación de calidad, la exigencia de profesores
actualizados, la cultura familiar de la educación y la cultura nacional por la educación. (A. Oppenheimer — 2010).

- Exige la formulación del perfil específico del egresado constituido por competencias y desempeños específicos, a partir de los
actuales campos ocupacionales, puestos de trabajo y dominios de desempeño
