La evaluación psicológica busca comprender y


medir diferentes aspectos biopsicosociales del
ser humano, a través de de técnicas y
herramientas, para obtener datos precisos y
objetivos para tomar decisiones informadas en
diferentes contextos.
Evaluación psicológica
Proceso sistemático y científico utilizado para
recopilar, analizar e interpretar información
relevante sobre el funcionamiento psicológico de
un individuo o grupo.
Esta evaluación se lleva a cabo utilizando una
variedad de técnicas, instrumentos y
procedimientos estandarizados, con el objetivo de
comprender y medir diferentes aspectos del
comportamiento, las emociones, las cogniciones, la
personalidad, entre los más comunes.

El propósito fundamental de la evaluación


psicológica es obtener datos objetivos y precisos
para tomar decisiones informadas en diversos
contextos, como diagnóstico y tratamiento de
trastornos mentales, orientación vocacional,
selección de personal, asesoramiento,
investigación, entre otros.

diferentes tipos de pruebas y herramientas, que
permiten a los psicólogos obtener una visión
integral del individuo, sus fortalezas, debilidades,
necesidades y capacidades, lo que a su vez facilita
la toma de decisiones adecuadas y la planificación
de intervenciones personalizadas: cuestionarios,
entrevistas, pruebas psicométricas, observaciones,
evaluaciones proyectivas

Los resultados deben ser interpretados de manera
