The Future of Food
The Future of Food
fatal.
Population growth brings with it a very important effect on the population's food
supply, since it requires a greater demand for food. With the traditional agriculture of
our ancestors to the natural without fertilizers or insecticides is difficult to meet the
demand for food of the population because they need more inputs and space for
cultivation and animal husbandry, so man has used science to increase production.
Nowadays, human beings have notoriously modified their food. With the passing of
time, vegetable and animal foods have undergone several changes, including chemical
and genetic modifications, which will continue to change the future of food. These were
created with the purpose of having greater productions to be able to distribute to more
cities or countries, however, in the future with these methods could directly affect the
health of the people who consume it since it is not as nutritious because its quality is not
the same and the future of food would be very different from today.
In the 20th century, a new and innovative idea of genetic selection emerged, the
use of pesticides and fertilizers which would bring about a great change in agriculture,
which could benefit from a higher production with lower costs and more accessible
prices for the population. This method in the beginning was proposed to benefit the
families that acquired these products and never run out of them, but what we did not
count that it had its negative sides as the wear of the soil, pollution and the main thing
vegetables and meats low in nutrients with more chemicals that affect human health.
That is why the future of food in a few or several years could be fatal. In the future,
companies dedicated to the elaboration or commercialization of these vegetable or
animal products will leave aside the health of their clients as a priority and will be more
concerned about being leaders in the world market and thus guarantee their economic
benefit, reaching a market with synthetic food, genetically elaborated, without nutrients
and vitamins that contribute to the development and care of the population.

In conclusion, nowadays human beings have notoriously modified their food, with the
passage of time vegetable and animal foods have undergone several changes, among
them we have the chemical and genetic modifications that will continue to change the
future of food. We do not know for sure the future of food, but at the rate we are going
we will surely have very bad food which could be described as dangerous because the
health risks are unknown.
