negativas e interrogativas, a través de una variedad de actividades que le ayudará a
aprender y a avanzar en el tópico mencionado. Además, se aprenderá vocabulario y
expresiones para hablar y escribir sobre lo que le gusta y lo que no. Recuerde que usted

El “Present Simple”, también llamado simple present o present tense, es el tiempo


presente en inglés y se utiliza para expresar hábitos y rutinas, hechos generales, acciones
repetidas o situaciones, emociones y deseos permanentes.

El "present simple" es el tiempo verbal más sencillo e importante de la lengua inglesa. En

2. Spelling of third person singular forms

Wh- Questions
Las “question words” ayudan a definir y especificar aún más una pregunta en inglés. Una
curiosidad: son conocidas como “Wh questions”, pues se escriben con “wh”, como: what,
when y who.
Es importante destacar que estas palabras se utilizan normalmente al principio de la
pregunta y deben estar acompañadas de los auxiliares respectivos del tiempo verbal.

I have two brothers. They don’t live in my house; they work at a Hotel. I start my
day at 7:00 a.m. I get up and I brush my teeth. Do you take a shower every day, my
Friends? I like to be clean and fresh.

I go to school by bus. My classes start at 8:00 a.m. Do you like your classes at
school? I eat my lunch in the school cafeteria but I don’t like the vegetables they
prepare.
After school, I go home at 4:00 p.m. I do my homework and I help my mother
clean the house. I watch TV and I play video games at night. Then, I read comics
every night. Do you like to read comics, my friends? After reading, I go to sleep at
9:00 p.m. I don’t like to wear pajamas, Do you like pajamas? I prefer to wear
shorts; it is more comfortable.

Sophie is eleven years old and she lives in Brighton, England. She usually gets up at eight
fifteen, she takes a shower, gets dressed and then she brushes her teeth. After that, she goes
downstairs and has breakfast. For breakfast she usually has milk, toast and orange juice. Then
she brushes her teeth again because she likes them white and healthy! Then she grabs her
school bag and goes to the bus stop to catch the school bus. Classes start at eight thirty and
finish at four thirty. She usually has lunch at the school with her schoolmates at about 12
o’clock. Her best friend is Amy and Sophie always sits next to her at lunch. After school she
goes back home and does her homework. She is a very hard-working pupil and she never
misses a school task! After homework, she usually listens to music and watches television a
bit. At seven thirty it is time for dinner. Then she usually reads a book or chats with her friends
for a while. Finally, she goes to bed at about ten o’clock, but before that she brushes her teeth.
