Significado de must:

 Must significa deber en el contexto de obligación:

Como se ve en el ejemplo, el verbo pleno que está a continuación de must, se encuentra en

la forma de infinitivo sin to.

Sujeto + must + verbo en infinitivo sin to

Afirmativa: must

Negativa: must not

Forma corta: mustn’t

Conjugación del verbo must

Como al resto de los verbos modales, al verbo "must" no se le añade una "-s" en la tercera
persona del singular.

Ejercicio No. 1: Traduce al Español las siguientes frases:

A. You must hurry up.
Tú debes darte prisa

B. She must pay for all the expenses.

Ella debe pagar todos los gastos

C. You must not worry, it’s bad for your health.

Tú debes preocuparte, es malo para tu salud.

D. Let me prepare dinner for you, you must be tired.

Déjame prepararte la cena, debes estar cansada.

E. Must you always clean the freezer?

¿Debes limpiar siempre el congelador?
 F. I must be there at eight.
Yo debo estar allí a las ocho.

G. You must be crazy to drive in this weather.

Tú debes estar loco por conducir con este tiempo.

H. You must stay strong.
Tú debes mantenerte fuerte.

I. She’s not coming to work today because she must take her son to the doctor.
Ella no va a venir a trabajar hoy porque debe llevar a su hijo al médico.

J. They must know what they are talking about.

Ellos Deben saber de qué están hablando.

Significado de Should:
El significado de should es debería.

Conjugación regular del verbo should.

Para conjugar el verbo should se hace de esta manera:

Sujeto + should + verbo en infinitivo sin to

Afirmativa: should

Negativa: should not

 Forma corta: shouldn’t

Como al resto de los verbos modales, al verbo "should" no se le añade una "-s" en la

tercera persona del singular.

Conjugación Significado

I should clean yo debería limpiar

You should clean tú deberías limpiar

He should clean él deberia

We should clean nosotros deberíamos limpiar.

You should clean Ustedes deberían limpiar.

Ellos deberían limpiar.

They should clean

Ejercicio No. 2. Completa el siguiente ejercicio usando Should y dando un concejo.

Que le recomendarías a alguien con los siguientes problemas:
Problem: I have a terrible headache
Advice: You should take an aspirin, Don’t worry too much

Advice: You should visit a doctor
5.- Problem: I have a stomachache.
Advice: You should eat less
6.- Problem: I have a fever.
Advice: You should aguapanela with lemon very very hot in the night
7. Problem: I lost my cell phone.
Advice: You should more careful
8. Problem: I forgot to call you.
Advice: You should forgot to me also jeje
9. Problem: I live very far from here.
Advice: You should buy a house more near
10. Problem: I’m very upset.
Advice: You should calm down
