observa algún componente dañado o la ausencia de
alguno avisar rápidamente al distribuidor.

este manual de instrucciones.
3) Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable del
aparato y deben estar disponibles a todos los usua-
rios del equipo.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION

Los baños de precisión con regulación electrónica
UNITRONIC permiten regular la temperatura del líquido
desde ambiente +5ºC hasta 99,9ºC (Estabilidad
±0,05ºC) en el modelo UNITRONIC 100 y desde +5ºC
hasta 199,9ºC (Estabilidad ±0,05ºC) en el modelo
UNITRONIC 200. Incorpora dispositivo de seguridad que
desconecta el calefactor en caso de sobretemperatura
y termostato de seguridad regulable con rearme ma-
nual.
También van equipados con una termorresistencia de
Pt100 como sensor de la temperatura, el grifo de vacia-
do y una bomba de circulación con caudal regulable
para agitación y temperación externa (a polarímetros,
refractómetros, viscosímetros, etc...).
El control de la temperatura es por microprocesador
que mediante una pantalla LCD permite configurar y
visualizar los siguientes parámetros: Limite superior e
inferior de la temperatura, selección en ºC ó ºF, limites
de alarma y calibrado.
Para utilizar los baños, llenar de líquido la cubeta hasta
el nivel adecuado, llegando éste como mínimo a cubrir
el elemento calefactor. Adecuar el líquido o mezcla se-
gún sea el tipo de baño y rango de temperatura de tra-
bajo.
A título orientativo detallamos algunos de estos líqui-
dos:
The UNITRONIC precision baths with microprocessor
control permit temperature regulation of the liquid from
ambient +5ºC to 99.9ºC (Stability ±0.05ºC) in the
UNITRONIC 100 model and from +5ºC to 199.9ºC
(Stability ±0,05ºC) in the UNITRONIC 200 model. It
includes a safety device which disconnects the heater
in case of overheating and an adjustable safety
thermostat with manual reset.
They are also supplied with Pt 100 thermoresistance
as a temperature sensor, draining tap and circulation
pump with adjustable flow for agitation external
temparing (polarimeters, refractometers, viscometers,
etc.).
Temperature control by microprocessor which permits
setting the following parameters through a LCD display:
Above and below limit of temperature, selection in ºC
or ºF, alarm limits and calibration.
To use the baths fill the inner tank with liquid until the
level covers at least the heating element. Adapt the
liquid or mixture according to the bath model and
working temperature.
As a guidance, here are some recommended liquids:

El agua desmineralizada o destilada tiene un gran poder de oxidación. Para prolongar la

vida del baño y evitar la oxidación de las piezas, disolver 1gr. de CO3Na2 (Carbonato de
Sodio) por litro de agua.

The distilled or demineralized water has a great tendancy to rust. To prolong the life of the
bath and avoid rusting of the parts, dissolve 1 gr of CO3Na2 (Carbonate of Soda) per litre of
water used in the bath.

PUESTA EN MARCHA
1. Llenar el baño de líquido. Dejar un mínimo de 3 cm.

quido no es suficiente la alarma de nivel del equipo
impedirá su funcionamiento.
2. Conectar el baño a la red eléctrica.
3. Accionar el interruptor principal «7» situado en la
parte posterior del cabezal, al mismo tiempo se pon-
drá en marcha el motor de agitación y se iluminará
el display «6».
4. Seleccionar la temperatura de consigna mediante
los pulsadores «3» y «4» y poner en marcha pul-
sando el pulsador «5». En el display «6» aparecen
los siguientes parámetros:
PV: Temperatura actual leída.
SV: Temperatura de consigna.
Establecer una alarma de sobretemperatura:
- Pulsar «5» para parar el circuito de regulación. (STA-
TUS: STOP)
- Pulsar «2» una vez, en el display aparece:
“OVERTEMP”, pulsando «3» o «4» se seleccionan
los grados de sobretemperatura. La alarma se acti-
va cuando la temperatura leída (PV) sobrepasa los
grados de sobretemperatura respecto a la tempera-
tura de consigna (SV).
Para desactivar la alarma seleccionar mediante «3»
ó «4» la posición OFF.
- Pulsar «2» hasta volver a la posición normal de fun-
cionamiento.
- De forma análoga se establece una alarma que se
activa cuando la temperatura está unos grados por
debajo de la temperatura de consigna.
Cuando se produce una sobretemperatura aparece la
pantalla siguiente:

donde PV es la temperatura actual leída.
Automáticamente se corta la calefacción y cuando la
temperatura desciende por debajo de la de alarma el
equipo continua regulando sin necesidad de ningún rear-
me.
La alarma de temperatura inferior sólo tiene el efecto de
indicarlo en la pantalla.
Para hacer desaparecer la indicación de la pantalla pul-
sar «5» para arrancar de nuevo.

STARTING UP
1. Fill the tank with liquid. Leave at least 3 cm with-
out filling ,to avoid splash. If the level of the liquid
is not sufficient, the alarm of low fluid level will
prevent the bath from starting.
2. Connect the bath into the mains.
3. Switch on the main switch (7) placed at the rear
part of the control panel, at the same time the shak-
ing motor will start and the display (6) will light up.
4. Select the working temperature with pushbuttons
(3) and (4) and start with pushbutton (5). On the
display (6) will appear the following parameters:
PV: Current temperature.
SV: Desired temperature.
Establish an overheating alarm:
- Press (5) to stop the regulation circuit. (STATUS:
STOP)
- By pressing (2) once, ‘’OVERTEMP’’ appears on
the display. By pressing (3) or (4) degrees of over-
heating are selected. The alarm will start when the
current temperature (PV) exceeds the degrees of
overheating above the desired temperature (SV).
To deactivate the alarm select the ‘’OFF’’ position
with 3 or 4.
- Press (2) to return to the normal position of opera-
tion.
- The same procedure to set an alarm that starts
when current temperature is some degrees below
the desired temperature.
When overheating occurs, on the display appears:

It automatically stops heating and when the temperature
is below alarm temperature, the bath continues
regulating without any reset.
The low temperature alarm only shows on the display.
To remove the indication from the display press «5» to
start up again.

AJUSTE DEL TERMOSTATO DE SEGURIDAD:

En la parte posterior del mueble de los baños se halla
localizado el termostato de seguridad.
1. Con la ayuda de un destornillador girar el termosta-
to de seguridad al máximo en sentido horario, me-
diante el mando «8».
2. Seleccionar mediante el teclado frontal (teclas «3»
y «4») la temperatura de disparo.
3. Poner en marcha la máquina y dejar que el baño se
estabilice.
4. Una vez estabilizado el baño, girar lentamente en
sentido antihorario el mando del termostato de se-
guridad «8», hasta que se dispare y aparezca en el
display el mensaje de alarma de sobretemperatura.
Simultáneamente saldrá el botón de rearme «9».
5. Parar el baño y dejar que se enfríe.
6. Cuando la temperatura esté a un 50% de la tempe-
ratura de trabajo, rearmar el termostato de seguri-
dad oprimiendo el botón pulsador «9».
7. El baño está listo para trabajar.

wise as fas as possible by means of «8» knob.
2. Select the desired temperature through the front
keyboard («3» and «4» buttons).
3. Start the machine up and leave the bath to settle.
4. Once the bath is stabilized, slowly turn the safety
thermostat knob anticlockwise, until it activates
and the overheating alarm message appears on
the display The reset «9» knob will come out si-
multaneously.
5. Stop the bath and leave it to cool.
6. When the temperature is at 50% of the working
temperature, reset the safety thermostat by press-
ing «9» knob.
7. The bath is ready to work with.

LIMPIEZA: CLEANING:

Si se utiliza agua normal de la red, se producirán depo-
siciones calcáreas que se depositarán en la cubeta y el
elemento calefactor. Debe evitarse que el calefactor fun-
cione cubierto de cal ya que pierde poder calorífico y se
destruye más rápidamente. Es aconsejable que perió-
dicamente se limpie la cubeta interior y el calefactor
con una solución al 10% de salfumán (ácido clorhídrico
al 28%) o con una solución de agua y vinagre (ácido
acético). Después aclarar con agua limpia.
If normal tapwater is used calcareous deposits will
appear in the bath and in the heating element. A heater
covered with lime should not be used as it can lose
heating power and deteriorate more quickly. Periodical
cleaning of the inside of the tank and the heating
element with a solution of 10% of 28% Chlorhydric

CAMPO DE COMPROBACIÓN DE LRC ERROR CHEKING FIELD

ERRORES LRC

La trama incluye un campo de comprobación de erro-
res LRC. Este campo ocupa 2 bytes. El LRC lo calcula
el dispositivo que envia el mensaje y lo incluye en la
trama. El dispositivo receptor calcula, también, el LRC
y compara el valor calculado con el recibido. Si son
iguales el mensaje ha llegado bien, sino se ha produci-
do un error en la comunicación.
Frame includes a transmition error cheking field called
LRC. This field size 2 bytes. This field is calculated
by the sender device and includes it on the frame. The
reciver device also calculates and if are equal the
transmition was good.
