Actividad 1 Parte A

empresa estudiada.
expansión de servicios de banda ancha y telefonía fija; aumentar calidad del servicio;

9. Write a synthesis about of the main aspects of the leadership in emergent economies.
Globalization and international competition, make that markets and companies have a
greater dynamic to that which existed in earlier times.
It's not as easy to predict what will happen to the future of emerging economies. They
only can get to be sustainable, if they create dynamic structures and strong, able to
overcome the barriers of space and time.
In the present era of knowledge, power is given by the capacity to adapt of managers,
by recognising the forms of change that are presented. The leader must feel and
10
recognize the changing environment, he must have the ability to transform and adapt
that organizational system required.
Perhaps one of the hardest parts in exercising leadership in the emerging economies is
given because the economic systems of organizations current are presented as fictions
fed intangible resources like mental processes. The leader must be able to understand
more flexible measures such as dialogues, interpretations and general systemic
structures of knowledge as their main instruments of value generation. In other words,
the power afforded by the knowledge and ability to transfer, gives a higher value than
tangible assets.
The leader must develop a systemic view. In this sense we believe that vision is the
main source of systemic thinking.
Considering that the thought processes are not tangible, the challenge of leader is that
his process of observation as efficient that can detect the current paradigms and
archetypes and use different strategies to generate innovation processes. The leader
must have an integrative view of processes.
The leader must be comprehensive, must make grow all areas of his life, he must know
himself, in this way he is protected against his own ego and his mental structures will
withstand any pressure, even failure. The leader must cultivate the study, practice and
service, these elements, as noted above apply to all facets of the leader: his personal
life, family, professional and course work.
Systems thinking are a vital feature for anyone who exercises leadership. This
encompassing a range of tools, methods and principles, which become language that
allows that leader may intervene in complex and dynamic situations. Additionally, these
tools applied to organization allow progress toward change.
On the other hand, the leader must have the capacity and ability to observation to
understand and interact positively, this means understanding the social behavior, so that
11
management action that exercises enable you to recognize each of the parts of the
system, from the smallest, to the largest levels of the hierarchy.
According to the reading, the relationship between systems thinking and leadership, are
two mechanisms vital to the progressive development of a company, as the leader
needs a broad view of the system to avoid conflicts and dissatisfaction in several areas
or levels of the company.
In all organizations there are people responsible for exercising leadership; they have the
great task to influence other spheres of the company to apply systems thinking
strategically. The above, permits us to analyze comprehensively and in greater depth
the problems organizational as well as their multiple causes and consequences.
The above is defined as the challenges that arise in the business world, where they face
situations such as fluctuating market and economy, and is in this moment, when the
leader makes decisions to give creative and innovative responses.
The main task of the leader in this regard is the ability to create an innovative response.
Perhaps that is the fundamental element and the challenge for local and global leaders.
This leader must perceive, detect, those emerging patterns, to intervene before the
competence. The leader must be careful because the changes are fast, the leader must
also have clear and understand intangible resources, and relations considered as raw
materials that create value by reorganizing the forms of change and understanding of
reality as a system evolves and lives
The article expressed "that the advance of telecommunications, transport and transfer of
technology has driven an irreversible process of globalization of markets". (Martínez.,
2011) On the other hand, the rise of emerging economies, has created a new world
order, where "in order to be able to play a leading role in this changing world,
interdependent, and demanding, entrepreneurs and high achievers, are not just limited
to planning, organizing, directing and controlling. Now ... the world-class entrepreneur
has developed and gained new knowledge, skills and abilities. To achieve the
12
productivity, the social responsibility and the social quality that are demanded by our
societies, successful entrepreneurs have had to become strategists with a global vision
for doing business" (Martínez., 2011). This global vision it is the recognition of the
culture of these emerging economies and makes decisions in new environments.
According to the report of the Spanish banking sector during the last decade, emerging
economies grow faster than developed economies, so have increased their share in
world GDP, trade and investment markets.
The above, results in new players entering the world economy toward an new
international order, they call multipolar where the emerging countries become relevant.
Leaders must be prepared to adapt to the changes. Be required of them in this new
overall picture, a high capacity to absorb the knowledge of this scenario that emerges of
world markets. (Banca Española, 2011)
