• GRAMMAR AND VOCABULARY TO BE:
It is one of the verb tenses of the Present used in English, in addition to the present
progressive, the present perfect and the present perfect progressive. It is used to
talk about things, daily habits or activities that are usually done every day and are
always true. With: I, you, we and they the lexical base of the verb is used, and with
he, she and it is added a -s.
Example:
-We are sleeping
-We are not sleeping
-Are we sleeping?

• Have
The verb 'to have' has the main meaning which is 'have' and 'have'. It can also
have other meaning, such as 'Take'. We will know its appropriate translation
depending on the meaning of the phrase, while the third person singular is formed
irregularly (changes from 'have' to 'has').
Example:
I have worked - He trabajado
She has a big house in Ireland -Tiene una gran casa en Irlanda
Be and Have

• Possesive′s
Possesive’s are used to specific the ownership of an item, or, if the noun refers to
something anímate, to specific a relationship.
-That is my car.
- Mr Smith was my teacher in the sixth form.
The form of the possesive changes according to the number and gender of the
person or thing that possesses the item.
-His brothers all came to the wedding.
-Their aunt lives in London, but their cousins live in Berlin.
-Your shoes are under your bed.
• Common verbs

• Prepositions
What is a prepositions?
A preposition is a word used to link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words within a
sentence. They act to connect the people, objects, time and locations of a sentence.
Prepositions are usually short words, and they are normally placed directly in front of nouns.
In some cases, you’ll find prepositions in front of gerund verbs.
• Indefinite pronouns
Los pronombres indefinidos son aquellas palabras que se usan para referirse a
personas, animales u objetos indeterminados, es decir, sin decir exactamente
quiénes o qué son porque no es importante mencionarlos o porque se desconoce
su identidad.
• School Subject

• Present simple: Affirmative and negative

The present simple is used in English to express:

The conjugation of a verb in present simple is different in affirmative, negative or

interrogative sentences.
In affirmative sentences, the verb remains invariable in the infinitive in all people
except the third person singular, for which it is necessary to add an -s.

Negative and interrogative sentences in the present tense are formed with the
auxiliary verb do, keeping the main verb unchanged. In these cases, it is the
auxiliary verb that reflects the third person singular mark: does.

Example:

Affirmative: I speak.
Negative: I do not speak.
Interrogatives: Do I speak?
• Adverbs of frequency
The adverbs of frequency ('adverbs of frequency') indicate the frequency the
frequency with which someone does something or things happen.
• Was / were
Was / were is the past simple form of the verb “to be ”(to be / to be). In present
simple is, are, am.

• Opinion adjectives
“Cada logro comienza con la
decisión de intentarlo.”
Gail Devers.
