SECUENCIA DE ACTIVIDADES
INICIO:
 Preguntar qué significa“Rhyme”.
 Mostrar imágenes de palabras que rimen, preguntar sus nombres. Ejemplo:
shoe – blue, dog – log, door – four.
 Recordar qué es una rima y en dónde podemos encontrarlas.
 Recordar los nombres de las rimas que trabajaron en el mes de octubre.
DESARROLLO:
Día #1  Escribir un poema. Poema sugerido: One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish –
de Dr. Seuss. (se recomienda mostrar solo un extracto del poema, ya que

 Identificar y subrayar palabras que riman.
 Dar una breve reseña bibliográfica del Dr. Seuss y sus poemas.
CIERRE:

 Mostrar una imagen de un personaje icónico del Dr. Seuss. (Se anexa
imagen al final de documento)
 Preguntar si lo conocen.
 Hablar sobre el poema de la clase anterior.
DESARROLLO:
Día #2  Relacionar vocabulario del poema con sus significados en español.
 Practicar pronunciación.

DESARROLLO:
 Escribir un poema sobre los colores, (es importante recordar que no todos
los poemas riman, pero es muy divertido escribirlos).
 Hacer una lluvia de ideas de objetos que sean del color escogido, por
Día #3 ejemplo, si es el color morado algunas palabras comunes que los niños
suelen escoger son: uvas, violetas, alguna prenda de vestir, etc.
 Con la ayuda de un diccionario de imágenes “picture dictionary”, buscar y
escribir las palabras en inglés.
 Agregar palabras a la lista de palabras. Ejemplo: beautiful violet, delicious
grape, big purple sweater, etc.

Mother says they smell,
And never sit when you say sit,

The dumb dog has to go.
