II. FUNDAMENTACIÓN

El curso de inglés, es parte de la Estructura Curricular de Formación Policial, cuya

finalidad es que el estudiante sea competente y capaz de desenvolverse utilizando
las cuatro destrezas del idioma Inglés: expresión oral, comprensión auditiva, lectura
y escritura de acuerdo al nivel básico. Asimismo, el alumno será capaz de utilizar lo
aprendido en situaciones reales, tomando en cuenta las características y cualidades
propias de cada contexto.

IV. PROCEDIMIENTOS PEDAGÓGICOS

La metodología que se aplica para el desarrollo de las capacidades y valores que

integran el idioma. Se utilizará el método inductivo - deductivo, diálogo permanente
con los alumnos y el profesor, desarrollando un vocabulario amplio que permita
expresiones fluidas del idioma, como elemento de interacción social y cultural. Los
alumnos podrán reforzar la pronunciación del idioma utilizando los recursos
audiovisuales que estén a su alcance y con la interrelación con personas que hablen
este idioma.

VI. EVALUACIÓN

A. La asistencia a las sesiones teóricas es obligatoria en el 70% y a los Talleres en el

90%, en caso contrario de no existir justificación alguna por la Subdirección
Académica, el alumno desaprobará la asignatura. Evaluación diagnóstica o de
entrada.

B. Evaluación Formativa o de Proceso para comprobar el rendimiento académico,

pronosticar posibilidades de desarrollo y reorientar la metodología, compromete la
aplicación de:

1. Dos exámenes escritos parciales (sexta y décimo semana), enmarcados en

los modelos de la Prueba Objetiva, pudiendo, además, contener preguntas
tipo desarrollo y situación problema, en las que prime el empleo de la
capacidad reflexiva, la correlación de criterios, el análisis y el pensamiento
lógico.
2. Tareas académicas (prácticas orales y escritas).
3. Presentación del trabajo aplicativo (décimo quinta semana) que implica la
presentación oral de diversos temas abordados durante el semestre en
inglés .

C. Evaluación sumativa orientada a comprobar el nivel de desarrollo cognoscitivo,

reflexivo y del pensamiento lógico, para lo cual se aplicará un examen final (décimo
octava semana), de similar característica empleada en los exámenes parciales.

D. El promedio general se calculará en concordancia con las disposiciones

establecidas en el Manual de Régimen de Educación de las Escuelas de Formación
de la PNP, conforme se detalla a continuación:

Rule 1.- For one owner use ’s.

Example: The student’s book. The boy’s mother
Carlos´s pencil. The baby’s toy

Rule 2.- For more than one owner (many owners) use (’).
Example: The students’ books The boys’ mother
The girls’ room The babies’ toy.

Rule 3.- To show common possession, the last owner receives ’s.
Example: Suzy and Bella’s house = the same house.
