Ingredients to prepare homemade truffles
175 grs. black chocolate for desserts
100 grs. Butter
3 tablespoons of icing sugar
2 egg yolks
2 tablespoons of cognac, rum or liquor (optional)
1 spoonful of soluble coffee (ready-made coffee)
Chocolate rain to coat.
Preparation
We melt the dark chocolate in a saucepan over a low heat.
In a pot put the 3 tablespoons of icing sugar with the 2 egg yolks. When it is well beaten (we beat
it with a barillas or fork) we incorporate the butter that has to be of the time, soft, not of the
refrigerator.
We continue mixing everything and when the cream is homogeneous we add the melted
chocolate. We keep stirring well.
In a glass we mix the coffee already made with rum or liquor and add this liquid to the chocolate
mixture. (If we do not want them to have alcohol, we add only coffee, which can be
decaffeinated). We go back to remove everything well. When the mixture is without lumps, cover
the saucepan or bowl with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator at least a couple of hours, so
that the chocolate paste hardens.
Finally we make the balls of truffles with the help of two spoons or by hand, and batter each one
with chocolate noodles.
NOTE: You can store them in the freezer and take them out as needed.
