OBJETIVO 2: FUTURO CONTINUO O FUTURO PROGRESIVO

El Futuro Progresivo se forma con el presente del verbo TO BE, mas la estructura GOING TO,
mas el verbo principal. Es decir,

BE + GOING TO + VERBO

Las formas del verbo TO BE ya las estudiaste en el objetivo anterior. Las estructuras
gramaticales de las oraciones en Futuro Progresivo son las siguientes:

I) GRAMÁTICA:

GRAMMAR: Future continuous or progressive.

Is that girl going to write?

Yes, that girl is going to write some notes.

No, that girl is not going to write.

Tal como se puede apreciar, el verbo TO BE se usa al comienzo de las preguntas y,

después del sujeto en el resto de las oraciones. Se debe tener en cuenta que para
afirmar, el verbo TO BE queda en su forma afirmativa, mientras que para negar, se
usan las formas negativas del verbo. (Vea la esquematización de las formas del
verbo TO BE en el cuadro gramatical visto en el objetivo anterior). La lista de verbos
que también se suministró en el objetivo anterior debes mantenerla siempre presente.

También es importante mencionar que tales consideraciones gramaticales también

funcionan en las traducciones. Es decir, en las traducciones de las preguntas, primero
se debe escribir el verbo TO BE que corresponde a ese sujeto. En las afirmaciones se
coloca el verbo TO BE después del sujeto y, en las negaciones se usan las formas
negativas que correspondan.

Ahora, tomando en cuenta las explicaciones suministradas, responde las

siguientes preguntas afirmativa y negativamente, de acuerdo a los modelos
suministrados en el recuadro de la Gramática:

3.- ¿Cuándo tú vas a solucionar eso?
When are you going to solve that?
4.- Yo voy a leer la información esta tarde, y ustedes van a recibir las preguntas esta
semana.
