INTRODUCING PEOPLE
OBJECTIVE : Use the Interrogative form with verb to be
DEAR STUDENT:
En esta segunda guia de trabajo abordaremos la forma INTERROGATIVA con el verbo TO BE, vamos a
comenzar por recordar y aprender algo de vocabulario de las Ocupaciones o profesiones dentro de oraciones
afirmativas para luego trabajar con la forma interrogativa simple.
La actividad evaluara el manejo de la estructura y vocabulario abordado a través de los diferentes ejercicios
propuestos y se tendrá en cuenta el seguimiento de instrucciones y entrega oportuna
1.Vamos a comenzar ingresando al siguiente link y observando el video que nos presenta el
vocabulario. Ingrese a You tube y en la barra de búsqueda pegue la siguiente dirección.( VIDEO 1)

2. Ahora desarrollemos el siguiente ejercicio en el cual unimos el vocabulario con pronombres y verbo tobe
y formamos ORACIONES AFIRMATIVAS.
COMPLETE WITH THE CORRECT FORM OF TO BE ( AM – IS – ARE)

Para comenzar el tema vamos a ver el siguiente video. Ingrese a You tube y en la barra de búsqueda

Como lo pueden observer se explica la forma interrogative con el verbo to be
EN ESTE CUADRO TAMBIEN APARECE LA EXPLICACION con su respectiva respuesta afirmativa o
negativa corta..

is She Tall? YES, she is / NO, she isn’t

Are you Students? Yes, we are / No, we aren’t

Is pablo Fat? Yes, he is / No, he isn’t. He is Thin

Como lo notan para realizar una pregunta directa con el verbo to be se escribe asi:
VERB TO BE + PRONOUN / subject + COMPLEMENT? La Rta: Si es positive .YES, + pronoun + verb
Si es negativa: NO,+ pronoun + verb+ negative form

IS CAROL A SECRETARY? YES , SHE IS. ARE THEY POLICEMEN? No, they are not. (Are not = Aren’t / is not = Isn’t)

2.Change the following sentences to interrogative form and answer according to the instructions.
Cambie las siguientes oraciones a forma interrogative y reponda de acuerdo a la instruccion.

3.ESCOJA 5 OCUPACIONES DEL VIDEO 1 ( si quiere realice los dibujos) Y ESCRIBA EN INGLES
UNA ORACION USANDO EL VERBO TO BE EN FORMA AFIRMATIVA Y LUEGO CAMBIELA A
INTERROGATIVA. MIRE EL EJEMPLO
JUDGE (esta palabra aparece en el video, segun la figura significa Juez) 1,Oracion afirmativa: The
Judge is Tall .
Ahora la cambio a interrogativa : Is the judge tall?
Afirmativa interrogativa
