La consulta más recurrente que recibimos día tras día es qué

material recomendamos para trabajar la dislexia.

Y la respuesta dada es que no existe un material para trabajar

la dislexia como tal, pues no existen dos escolares con las
mismas características y, menos aún, dos disléxicos iguales,
en lo cual, entre otros, in uyen determinantemente los
siguientes factores:

La edad del escolar y el nivel concreto

dentro del desarrollo lectoescritor.

La estimulación recibida previamente.

Los dé cits concretos presentados y las

habilidades afectadas.

La capacidad de compensación y el nivel de

desarrollo que presenta en otras áreas,
especialmente lingüística, perceptivo-motriz,
conductual y cognitiva.

El origen y la severidad o incidencia de sus

di cultades.

El estilo predominante de aprendizaje.

Partiendo de esta premisa, solo podemos elegir el mejor

material para trabajar la dislexia cuando conocemos los
factores que debemos analizar y los hemos valorado
previamente.

Es decir, para utilizar un material apropiado debemos conocer

qué habilidades necesitamos desarrollar, cuál es el nivel de
desarrollo de cada una de estas habilidades y cuál podría ser
el origen de cada di cultad. 

A continuación se presentan, de manera esquematizada, una

progresión de los aspectos básicos que debemos tener en
cuenta a la hora de valorar e intervenir o trabajar la dislexia en
español.

Teniendo en cuenta estos aspectos, desarrollados

ampliamente en el curso de dislexia

elegir el mejor material para trabajar la dislexia en cada caso
concreto.

Además de los aspectos directamente relacionados con la

adquisición de la lectoescritura que se han mencionado, a la
hora de tratar las di cultades ocasionadas por la dislexia,
también resulta muy importante utilizar metodologías
participativas, sensoriales, signi cativas, sistemáticas y
explícitas.

Soy una madre de una niña dislexica de 7 años.

Ademas hice la carrera de logopedia , pero a
penas he trabajado en ello.
Me gustaría estudiar y formarme en la disléxia
pero no sé muy bien que estudios pueden ser los
mas adecuados.
Podrías informarme.
