Es importante estar comprometido con la labor que ejercemos sea cual sea nuestra ocupación laboral;
estrategias básicas de motivación entre jefes y empleados basándonos en cuatro pilares esenciales;
fraternidad, contexto, compartir triunfos y ser valorados

m Pasado Simple – (Simple Past Tense)
m
49
Secundaria a Distancia y Nocturna Inglés
Unidad 3
Expressing our past Activities
utilizarse la forma contraída de DID NOT o sea DIDN’T.
They saw the movie last night. Ellos vieron la película anoche.
We went to Rio san Juan yesterday. Nosotros fuimos a Rio san Juan ayer.
estudiarse individualmente.

«« ¡Very Important! TIEMPO PRESENTE TIEMPO PASADO
I work = Yo trabajo I worked = Yo trabajé
Los verbos se dividen en 2 grupos:
I walk = Yo camino I walked = Yo caminé
Verbos Regulares.- Los verbos I jump = Yo salto I jumped = Yo salté
Regulares en idioma Inglés son
aquellos que para formar su tiempo I cook = Yo cocino I cooked = Yo cociné
pasado solo necesitan el agregado de
I open = Yo abro I opened = Yo abrí
ED al tiempo presente. Ejemplo:
I close = Yo cierro I closed = Yo cerré

tense (will vs be going to) and its grammatical
structure.

Pronounce the sentences.
Pronunciemos las oraciones.
« GRAMMAR NOTE
«
Generalmente “to be + going to” se usa para acciones que van a
“Will”
qq “Going to”:
Ejemplos:
She is going to pay with a credit card = Ella va a pagar con una tarjeta
de crédito (algo que está por ocurrir).

Climate is the general pattern of wind, rainfall, sunshine and temperature of a place over along period of
time.
Weather is diferent from climate .It is the present condition including barometric pressure, of a given place
at a given time. Weather is determined by what is happening at a very specific place ..
Temperature varies from way below zero Fahrenheit in the artic and
antartic, to the extreme heat of the dry desert country. And rainfall
goes from the dry dessert to the extremely damp areas. Barometric pressure affects our weather , too.
Air pressure is the fourth factor which makes weather . It goes from very low to high pressure. The
pressure affects the weather.

La forma interrogativa:
Como casi siempre, hay inversión entre el sujeto y el auxiliar “to be” en las preguntas:
Are you going to watch the match? (¿Vas a ver el partido?)
Is Dave going to look for a new job? (¿Dave va a buscar un trabajo nuevo?)
La forma negativa:
Empleamos la palabra “not”:
I’m not going to go on holiday. (No voy a ir de vacaciones.)
We aren’t going to drive to Jinoteg. (No vamos a conducir a Jinotega.)
Joel and Mary are going to buy a house in the country next year. (Joel y Mary van a comprar una casa
en el campo el año que viene.)
82
We’re going to start eating more healthily next month.
I’m seeing Rocío this evening.
I’m going to see Rocío this evening.
They’re watching a film.
They’re going to watch a film.
empeñados en hacer algo, preferimos “going to”:
I’m going to pass this exam if it’s the last thing I do.
y no... “I’m passing this exam...”
Amenazas y promesas.
“Going to” (y no
I promise I’m not going to do it ever again.
If you do that, I’m going to get angry. (Si haces eso, me voy a enfadar.)

Reading comprehension skills
No tardo tanto…”.
idioma extranjero.
OUR CULTURE
The people of Nicaragua are mostly half castes and Spanish is invariably their first language. Nicaraguans
are prone to refer to themselves as Nicas, Nicoyas and Pinoleros.
In the Caribbean coast, many Afro-Nicaraguans and creoles speak English and creole English as their
first language, but they speak a very fluent Spanish as a second language.
The languages in the North and South Atlantic Regions are influenced by English, Portuguese, Spanish
and French. Many of the indigenous people on the Caribbean coast speak native languages such as
the Miskito, Sumo, Rama and Garifuna language. In addition, many ethnic groups in Nicaragua have
maintained their ancestral languages, while also speaking Spanish or English; these include Chinese,
Arabic, German,Hawian, and Italian.

WILL TALK ABOUT CHOCOYERO
It is a great place for getting into real contact with nature in a dry tropical forest. This natural reserve
is located 30 kilometers (18miles) southwest of the city capital of Managua and it is the home to a
wide biodiversity of flora and fauna within its 185 hectares (455 acres).
The bird species are about 113; some include hummingbirds, toucans, wrens, and the most famous
inhabitant the “CHOCOYO COLUDO” or “GREEN PARAKEET” These marvelous birds live and nest
on a rocky wall that forms a beautiful waterfall all year round providing to the nearby communities
an important source of clean water. This rich wildlife also includes 29 species of mammals and 21
species of reptiles and amphibians.
CHOCOYERO- EL BRUJO natural reserve´s night life is very active with ocelots, deer, agoutis,
opossums, and other animals, thus camping is a great idea for night life observation. The vegetation
is lush and beautiful and if you pay attention carefully on the canopy of the trees during the day you
will be able to see the howler´s monkeys and even the white-faced monkeys.

Creating an identity in today’s media drenched world is not a simple task. With a turn of a magazine

reference to inevitable surrounding media traditions.
There are a variety of mediums from which people can pick and access information from such as radio,
TV, Internet, or even cell phones. Consequently, the media holds a very powerful capacity to set a social
issue for mass audience to assume and talk about. Often, media do not intentionally set the agenda
and resolve the pros and cons of that particular matter, so it repeatedly causes terrible consequences
towards public as well as establishes ‘moral panics’, which can sometimes direct to mob violence. This
writing will argue that identity is a social construction, managed primarily by the contemporary media
and created in relation to others and is it continually being changed in order to keep up with the altering
society.
An individual’s identity is formed by society in which media plays a predominant role. There is a
daily interactive relationship between the subject and the object, that is, human agents and the
conditions of their subsistence, respectively. Theories of the individual emphasize on differences
between people and deem these differences as natural. Individuals are “constituted” as the
possessors of positions throughout the effects of social relations. Alternatively, other theories of
the topic concentrate on people’s general experiences in society through watching TV, surfing the
internet or reading the newspaper. It is these general experiences that are the most significant way
of distinguishing who we are. Thus, subject identity is a social construction, not an ordinary one.
When we connect with the media, we act and are acted upon, use and are used by the system.
2) Are there a variety of mediums from which people can pick and access information? Mention all of
them
4) What is the role play of the mass media into the societies?
