La evaluación diagnóstica
La evaluación diagnóstica es un proceso sistemático y riguroso que se hace al inicio de un año escolar, un tema o un periodo
académico. Busca dos objetivos: primero, entender en qué estado están los estudiantes al comienzo del año, el tema o el periodo; y
segundo, tomar decisiones que faciliten y mejoren el aprendizaje durante el desarrollo del proceso educativo.

La siguiente evaluación diagnóstica va dirigida para los alumnos de segundo grado de secundaria. Cada estudiante tiene una
historia académica diferente, pero en su mayoría, son alumnos que no han tenido contacto con clases de inglés en educación
primaria. A pesar de lo anterior, existe la posibilidad de que indirectamente el alumno esté expuesto al uso del idioma dentro de su
contexto.

El contenido de la evaluación diagnóstica se adhiere al inmediato ciclo escolar anterior, utilizando los contenidos expuestos en el
programa 2017 Aprendizajes Clave y evaluando las 4 macro habilidades del alumno: escuchar, escribir, leer y hablar.

En caso de que el docente requiera realizar alguna modificación en esta evaluación podrá realizarla ya que solo él o ella saben el
contexto en el que se desarrollan sus alumnos.

Es importante recordar que la evaluación diagnóstica nos dará un punto de partida para trabajar con nuestros alumnos y ayudarles a
adquirir los conocimientos necesarios que serán útiles para los trimestres posteriores, al igual que los ciclos escolares.

Al desarrollar el examen de diagnóstico, es importante que conozcamos la finalidad de cada tipo de pregunta o reactivo, por lo
anterior, me permito explicar que existen diferentes tipos de preguntas que será descritas a continuación.
