Muchas personas han contribuido en todo el contenido, desarrollo y preparación de este Programa de Grupos de Edad FIG. El proyecto fue iniciado y alentado por
el Presidente de la FIG, el Señor Bruno GRANDI, para servir como un programa efectivo para el desarrollo sistemático seguro y sano a largo plazo de los gimnastas.

Resumen y Filosofía del Programa FIG de Grupos de Edad
El rápido aumento en el contenido de la dificultad de las ejecuciones gimnásticas ha sido el resultado del incremento del volumen y la intensidad del
entrenamiento en edades cada vez más jóvenes. Al mismo tiempo, los entrenadores en los países líderes se han vuelto más eficaces en la
preparación técnica de los gimnastas lo que produce muchos menos entrenadores exitosos y programas para tratar de copiar, tomando atajos hacia
la dificultad.
Este incremento en horas de entrenamiento y disminución en la edad de los niños para un entrenamiento de alta intensidad ha colocado a nuestro
deporte bajo un mayor escrutinio y crítica por las profesiones médicas, educacionales y de medios publicitarios quienes a menudo usan a la gimnasia
como un ejemplo de prácticas de entrenamiento abusivas y excesivas.
Es importante para todos en el deporte asegurar que estas impresiones negativas son equivocadas. A menudo estas impresiones son correctas. La
FIG está trabajando vigorosamente en este sentido con cambios en las reglas que tienen consecuencias negativas y con la educación de
entrenadores para mejorar su conocimiento y su efectividad sin causar daño a los gimnastas bajo su cuidado.
El Programa de Desarrollo y Alta Competencia FIG de Grupos de Edad es un esfuerzo para proveer preparación física “lista para usarse”, preparación
técnica y programas de competencia para países con poca experiencia en la gimnasia internacional contemporánea y para aquellos países que no
tienen los recursos para desarrollar un programa propio.
• La atención se centra en la preparación a largo plazo segura y perfecta y el desarrollo de los gimnastas hacia el alto rendimiento
• Este programa provee información para garantizar progresiones graduales y seguras.
• Este programa provee programas que pueden ser recomendados para todos los entrenadores y todas las federaciones.
Una información más detallada sobre la teoría, la técnica y la metodología de la enseñanza de todos los elementos que se presentan en este
documento está disponible en el Programa de Academia de la FIG en sus tres niveles.

Primordial para el entendimiento del entrenador es que el periodo de edad de 11-15 es un momento crítico para nuestros gimnastas ya que es una
etapa en el que ellos son capaces de aprender habilidades aéreas complejas rápidamente pero simultáneamente son susceptibles a lesiones físicas
debilitantes agudas, crónicas y por sobreuso y a daño emocional y psicológico.
➢ Los gimnastas en este periodo de edad tienen placas de crecimiento abiertas (cartílago en lugar de hueso) al final de cada hueso largo en el
cuerpo así como en cualquier lugar donde un tendón se fija a un hueso. Estas placas son susceptibles a lesión por torsión y fuerzas de
compresión excesivas o repetitivas.
• Debe ser proporcionado un tiempo adecuado de recuperación.
• Debe reducirse el número de cargas de alto impacto.
• No se deben permitir aterrizajes con giros o mortales incompletos.
• Se deben usar superficies suaves para los aterrizajes.
➢ Los gimnastas en este periodo de edad experimentarán un crecimiento acelerado (pico de crecimiento de estatura PHV).
• Todas las partes del cuerpo y los sistemas del cuerpo crecen a diferentes velocidades y esto puede conducir a torpeza y pérdida de
algunas habilidades.
• Ellos serán menos flexibles a medida que los huesos crecen y ponen los músculos y tendones bajo estiramiento.
➢ Los gimnastas en este periodo de edad experimentarán un periodo de incremento acelerado de peso poco tiempo después del PHV (pico de
aumento de peso PWV).
• Ellos ganaran peso más rápido que fuerza y por ello perderán temporalmente fuerza relativa.
• Ellos no deberán ser puestos bajo una dieta restrictiva; deben comer óptimamente para un crecimiento óptimo y sano.
➢ Los gimnastas en este periodo de edad no tienen su sistema anaeróbico láctico maduro; y el deporte de la gimnasia es predominantemente
anaeróbico.
➢ Los gimnastas exitosos casi siempre maduran tardíamente.
• Tener Maduración tardía y talla más pequeña a esa edad pueden conducir a sentimientos de inferioridad y baja autoestima.
• Sus placas de crecimiento están abiertas y susceptibles a lesiones prolongadas.
• Los gimnastas en este periodo de edad deberían enfocarse principalmente en el aprendizaje y menos en la competencia.
Competencias internacionales pueden ser introducidas pero el enfoque debe ser en elementos de base perfectamente ejecutados y
deberían usarse reglas tales como las presentadas dentro de este documento que modifiquen las expectativas de dificultad.

Desarrollo del Rendimiento a largo plazo de las Gimnastas
Para la preservación y aceptación duradera de nuestro deporte, se requiere una preparación sistemática a largo plazo de las gimnastas, que tome en
consideración el crecimiento y los principios de maduración.
Desviarse de dicho sistema de preparación, al esforzarse por una especialización temprana o por ejecutar elementos de alta Dificultad
prematuramente, no sirve a los gimnastas y contribuye a ejecuciones antiestéticas, lesiones y a un rechazo de nuestro deporte por el público.
Entrenadores que por cualquier razón, practican tal comportamiento, pueden ocasionalmente lograr buenos resultados pero a la larga, tal método
no será exitoso y dará lugar a un desgaste severo.
Durante el desarrollo del rendimiento a largo plazo, la habilidad de carga en general, y la habilidad de carga del sistema motor y de soporte en
particular tienen una posición central. Durante su actividad previa y actual como entrenador, Dieter Hoffman ha tenido experiencias positivas con un
punto de vista común hacia el desarrollo del rendimiento sistemático de atletas, con entrenadores, médicos, gimnastas y sus tutores.
Este esfuerzo común debería estar concentrado en aspectos esenciales:
• Un incremento sistemático de las cargas con el propósito de crear una capacidad de carga a largo plazo y duradera del sistema motor y de
soporte.
• Un desarrollo elevado de los prerrequisitos (flexibilidad, potencia, estructuras básicas) para limitar los efectos de las cargas negativas de altas
repeticiones de movimiento y técnicas imperfectas (posición ineficiente de las articulaciones).
• Promover y alentar la educación de los gimnastas de all-around para poder garantizar el equilibrio de las cargas (desmontes, apoyos,
suspensiones).
• El uso sistemático y gradual de la "fase de aprendizaje motora favorable" en el desarrollo del rendimiento a largo plazo.
• Coordinar con la alta responsabilidad de una cadena de personas: gimnasta – entrenador – medico – fisioterapista.
• Garantizar una segura y continua proporción de entrenamiento, competencias y fases de compensación.
• Uso extensivo de equipo metódico (equipo auxiliar) en el proceso de entrenamiento y poner gran atención a este aspecto en la construcción
de los salones de entrenamiento.

Esta Filosofía de la gimnasia ha tocado nuevamente a nuestro deporte:
«La Gimnasia es complicada, no porque deba ser difícil sino porque tiene que ser hermosa»
Los autores de este programa confían en que los entrenadores y atletas aceptarán esta asistencia y encontrarán un apoyo bien fundado en esto.

• La meta del Entrenamiento Preparatorio es la de incrementar el nivel de los prerrequisitos generales y específicos (coordinación, técnica,
velocidad, flexibilidad, potencia, etc.) e incrementar la capacidad de carga.
• La meta del Entrenamiento Avanzado es la de desarrollar una transferencia sistemática desde el Entrenamiento de grupos de edad al
entrenamiento de alto rendimiento. Se trata de asegurar la conexión con el nivel internacional a través de un incremento sistemático de las
demandas específicas de entrenamiento.
• El Entrenamiento Preparatorio básicamente difiere del de Alto Rendimiento:
o Tiene un carácter específico. Los prerrequisitos de rendimiento para el mayor desarrollo del deporte están siendo desarrollados y se crean
los prerrequisitos para un mayor incremento de las demandas de entrenamiento y capacidad de carga.
• La meta de la planeación de rendimiento a largo plazo es:

No son las metas de Competencia, sino las metas educacionales para las habilidades técnicas y físicas las que son prioridad.

Introducción
Este Programa Femenil de Competencia fue diseñado para brindar oportunidades de Competencia a las gimnastas de todas las edades y todos los niveles.
Niñas y mujeres participan en la gimnasia por muy diferentes razones, todas igualmente válidas y bienvenidas.
Es complicado con un solo conjunto de reglas servir, tanto las necesidades de la gimnasta recreacional que desea competir ocasionalmente para
permanecer motivada y para probarse a sí misma contra otras, y las necesidades de la gimnasta de alto rendimiento que desea representar a su país en un
escenario internacional. Además, algunas gimnastas podrían empezar entrenando en temprana infancia mientras que otras no tienen oportunidades o
exposición hasta que están en su juventud. Es importante, de alguna manera, mantener a todas estas gimnastas proporcionándoles una participación
significativa y oportunidades de éxito.
Este programa divide a las participantes competitivas y sus oportunidades en dos grupos; un grupo de Participación y un grupo de Alta Competencia. El
grupo de Participación tiene cuatro Clases de Competencia; cada una dividida en múltiples agrupaciones de edad que permiten a las iniciadoras tempranas
o tardías participar exitosamente. Las primeras dos Clases de Competencia incluyen ejercicios obligatorios que también son apropiados para el grupo de
Alta competencia pero solo a edades específicas y limitadas.
El grupo de Alta Competencia está dividido en seis Clases de Competencia progresivas. Las Clases AC1 y AC2 son las mismas que para el grupo de
Participación. Luego, el grupo de Alta Competencia avanza en complejidad hasta las últimas dos Clases de Competencia siendo estas los niveles Junior y
Senior. Las primeras cuatro de las seis Clases de Competencia para el grupo de Alta Competencia incluyen ejercicios obligatorios. La experiencia ha
demostrado que los ejercicios obligatorios sirven para dirigir el entrenamiento hacia el alto rendimiento y, adicionalmente, sirven como una forma de
educación y control para los entrenadores.
Nota:
• Las múltiples edades en los Niveles de Participación permiten una entrada tardía a la Gimnasia y más años de participación. El número de grupos de
edad pueden ser demasiados para las federaciones con pocas participantes. Los diferentes grupos de edades pueden competir juntos pero se
premiarán por separado.
• Los Ejercicios Obligatorios de la clase 1 y la clase 2 deberán formar la misma base de cualquier Competencia gimnástica y deberán, por lo tanto, ser
los mismos. Algunas federaciones pueden escoger hacer ejercicios obligatorios más simples para los Niveles de Participación o eliminar los
elementos de mayor riesgo.
• Algunas categorías se sobreponen con las edades actuales del nivel Junior FIG. Este programa permite a gimnastas de esas edades competir
significativamente sin tener que avanzar a las reglas de niveles Junior FIG antes de estar preparadas. El nivel Junior en este documento utiliza las
reglas Junior FIG pero recomienda una opción para las federaciones donde la edad se extienda para evitar ser forzadas a alcanzar un nivel Senior
antes de estar listas.
• Para el ejercicio de barras, el ejercicio obligatorio será realizado en una barra sencilla. NO tiene sentido usar una doble barra antes de que la niña
pueda hacer transiciones significativas entre las barras. Todos los elementos significativos deben ser perfeccionados en una barra sencilla, primero.

Información Adicional
i. Para ejercicios opcionales en las Clases de Competencia P3 y P4, cualquier elemento gimnástico legítimo que no sea reconocido en el
COP FIG actual recibirá un Valor A, independientemente de cualquier valor de Código previo. Ejemplos incluyen: rodadas, círculos de
cadera, etc.
ii. Las partes sin valor no son ni acreditadas ni deducidas, siempre que sean ejecutadas sin errores de ejecución.
iii. Para todas las Clases de Competencia, en el caso de un salto pobre, la Gimnasta puede escoger saltar de nuevo, con una deducción
automática de 1.0 punto. Esta deducción es aplicada por el Juez Principal del Aparato y es deducida de la Nota Final.
Artículo 5 Modificaciones adicionales al COP FIG para las Clases de Competencia P3-P4 y AC3-AC4.
a. Partes de Desarrollo
Las Clases de Competencia P3-P4 y AC3-AC4 pueden hacer uso de partes de desarrollo específicamente designadas: partes cuyo valor difiere
de aquellas listadas en el COP FIG actual o que no están reconocidas dentro de ese Código. Los gimnastas de las Clases de Competencia P3-
P4 y AC3-AC4 pueden usar los elementos identificados para reunir requerimientos de Dificultad, requerimientos de Composición y posibles
puntos de Bono por Conexión.
b. Repetición
Clases de competencia P3-P4 y AC3- AC4 pueden repetir un elemento de suficiente dificultad, como sigue:

Clase P4 – puede repetir un elemento de valor B o C
Clase AC3 – puede repetir un elemento de valor C o D

toes pointed on the floor. ARMS: Direct both arms forward-middle while raising the body, then open sideward-middle.
f. Take a left step sideward on the left leg through 2ª position demi-plié while execute a SIDE WAVE to the left. ARMS: Start the Wave with the right arm sideward-
diagonally-upward and the left arm in front of the chest, curved and the palm up. With circular motion, gently lower both arms to the left sideward-downward to low,
continue moving the arms to the left sideward-upward to finish with the left arm lateral-diagonally-upward and the right arm in front of the chest curved and the palm up.

h. While placing the right feet on the floor at the end of the chassé, turn ¼ (90º) to the left, take a step forward on the left leg, then close the right foot beside the left foot in

Propósito del Desarrollo de la Habilidad Técnica y Programa de Prueba (PHT) – (Prueba de la Habilidad Técnica)
• Las líneas de educación / estructuras de educación mostradas en la “PHT” y el incremento sistemático visible del nivel de dificultad, deberá
contribuir a ayudar a las gimnastas a crear sistemáticamente prerrequisitos técnicos de ejecución para poder realizar exitosamente ejercicios de
mayor dificultad en edades de aprendizaje avanzadas.
• Es un programa que crea prerrequisitos técnicos y deberá ser un instrumento de control al mismo tiempo.
• La secuencia de educación / estructuras ilustra un camino desde “lo simple” a “lo difícil” y es esencialmente “abierto – finalizado”.
• Una gimnasta deberá avanzar al siguiente elemento solo si el nivel de dificultad previo ha sido aprendido con un mínimo Valor de Calidad de 3.0
• La información abajo es el resultado de muchos años de experiencia en la educación de gimnastas de alto nivel, pero también de gimnastas de
naciones con poca experiencia en este momento, y deberá servir como una guía.
• En relación al salto: los autores son de la opinión que las variaciones de los saltos Kasamatsu/Tsukahara no deben ser reconocidos como
estructuras básicas. Las bases para este grupo de saltos es el resorte de brazos al frente y el mortal al frente extendido. Un alto nivel de control de
esta estructura orientada hacia adelante tiene un efecto positivo excepcional en el aprendizaje de futuras estructuras de saltos.

La evaluación de la calidad de ejecución técnica = Valor de Calidad VC es dada en incrementos desde 0 – 4 puntos. Para una evaluación más fina de
calidad, se pueden otorgar incrementos de medio punto (por ejemplo 1.5; 2.5; etc.)
0 = No completado. El elemento que se intenta no es reconocible.
1 = El elemento que se intenta es apenas reconocible. Ejecución Técnica mala, incorrecta posición del cuerpo (postura) o caída.
2 = Las características técnicas esenciales han sido logradas. Pobre técnica y Ejecución, paso o salto.
3 = El elemento es mostrado con buena técnica y ejecución; es controlado. Puede ser introducido en un ejercicio de competencia.
4 = El elemento es mostrado con muy buena técnica y ejecución. No hay errores de Aterrizaje.
➢ Elementos con Valor de Calidad = 3 pueden ser incluidos en competencias domésticas y demuestran que la gimnasta está lista
