Estimadas y estimados docentes:

Como ya les comentamos en la primera entrega, el material que se presenta

pretende acompañar este difícil contexto de manera de sumar herramientas a las
que ustedes ya están usando. A partir de lo trabajado en la primera entrega, acerca
de las ventanas y las pantallas, seleccionamos la canción ‘Screen’ que aborda el
tema de la identidad y las formas en las que nos presentamos ante las demás
personas.

La primera actividad está diseñada a modo de búsqueda del tesoro. Al encontrar y

tildar los elementos, suman puntos. Las y los estudiantes pueden elegir hacerla en
su celular o en su casa. La idea es refrescar el léxico relacionado con la canción, a
la vez que ofrecer distintas opciones de acuerdo con las preferencias de las y los
estudiantes.

Para la actividad de escritura, se conecta la canción en inglés ‘Screen’ con ‘Soy’,

la canción de los hermanos Cardozo que figura en el cuadernillo de Educación
Artística de 2o (Continuemos Estudiando). Ambas, de distintos modos, se refieren
a la búsqueda de la identidad. En la de 21 Pilots se aborda el tema de la identidad
fragmentada (we’re broken), líquida, pero también la que se define en la presencia
de otra persona (I’m standing in front of you). Por ello, en el texto que se propone
escribir, cada imagen que completa la frase ‘I am’ (Soy) refiere a las imágenes que
mostramos de nosotros mismos.

Recuerden que el trabajo está pensado para poder compartir con las y los
estudiantes tal cual aparece o adaptar las consignas. Si fuera necesario, se pueden
eliminar algunas de las explicaciones y dejar solo los títulos resaltados o incluir
traducciones donde crean necesario. Si lo hacen, recuerden que, si tradujeron
‘answer’ en el primer título, no se haga más adelante, para que deban hacer el
esfuerzo de recordarlo o buscarlo.
