EVALUACIÓN FINAL
2

Sustantivos contables Sustantivos no contables
A/AN tienen una forma plural
Quantifiers: some, any, a lot, a few y a little
I see there is some milk and there are seven bananas in my fridge.
is y there are, más el cuantificador some y any.
Oraciones afirmativas
Utilizamos There is + a/an con sustantivos singulares y There is + some con sustantivos
no contables.
Ejemplos:
There is an orange. (Hay una naranja).
There is some rice. (Hay algo de arroz).
3
Tomado de: https://sp.depositphotos.com/175078248/stock-photo-refrigerator-full-of-food.html
22
Utilizamos There are + sustantivos plurales y There are + some cuando no estamos
seguros de la cantidad.
Ejemplos:
There are five carrots in the box. (Hay cinco zanahorias en la caja).
There are some cookies on the table. (Hay algunas galletas en la mesa).
Oraciones negativas
Utilizamos There isn´t + any con sustantivos singulares y con sustantivos no contables.
Ejemplos:
There isn´t any apple. (No hay ninguna manzana).
There isn´t any cheese. (No hay queso).
Ejemplo:
There aren´t any onions to cook. (No hay cebollas para cocinar).
Ahora continuaremos con preguntas “How much / How many”, para indagar ¿Cuánto (a)?
¿Cuántos (as)?
some, y a lot.
much milk is there? existen tres posibles respuestas:
There is some (Hay algo).
There is a little. (Hay poca).
There is a lot.
There isn´t any milk.
Para responder la pregunta: How many eggs are there in the fridge? También existen
tres respuestas correctas:
There are a few (Hay algunos).
There are some. (Hay pocos).
There are a lot.
en el refrigerador, dirías: There aren´t any eggs.
24
1) Soup ___________
2) Strawberry __________
3) Flour ___________
4) Oil ___________
5) Mango __________
6) Juice __________
7) Mushroom ____________
8) Bread _____________

El Presente Continuo con significado en Futuro (Present Continuous with Future
meaning).
continuación, te explico uno nuevo para ti.
Para formar el presente continuo usamos el verbo to be y otro verbo con ing.
Por ejemplo:
I am playing soccer.
He is slepping.
Él está durmiendo
.
You’re reading the newspaper.
I’m calling you from home next week.
contraída (I'm) o no contraída (I am).
