1. PAST SIMPLE
1.1 Definición
El "simple past" se utiliza para hablar de una acción que concluyó en un
tiempo anterior al actual. En el pasado simple hay verbos regulares y verbos
irregulares.
1.2 Verbos Regulares. - Los verbos Regulares en idioma inglés son
aquellos que para formar su tiempo pasado solo necesitan el agregado de ED
al tiempo presente.
Si el verbo terminara en E, para formar el tiempo pasado solo le
agregamos una D y no ED.
Si el verbo termina en Y con antecente de una consonante para formar el
tiempo pasado se le agrega IED, si le antecediera una vocal solo se le
agregara ED.

A (+) She cleaned the bedroom in the morning. // Ella limpió la habitación
por la mañana.
2.- A (+) He arrived from Tacna two days ago. // Llegó de Tacna hace dos
días.

2.1 Definición.
Es un verbo auxiliar que significa “poder” que se utiliza para indicar una
probabilidad de una acción o grado de acción y para pedir permiso, va seguido
del verbo en forma base.
Este verbo modal no tiene una contracción posible en la forma negativa ni
en la positiva.

3.1 Definición
Es un verbo auxiliar que representa las terminaciones de los verbos
españoles (ría, rías, ríamos, y rían) por ejemplo
I would go -iría
I would eat –comería
I would be -sería/ estaría
would es un auxiliar, es decir, que por sí solo no tiene un significado
completo: necesita de otro verbo para tener sentido en una oración.

4.1 DEFINICIÓN
El "present perfect" se emplea para señalar un vínculo entre el presente y
el pasado en el tiempo en que transcurre la acción.
Los usamos para acciones en el pasado que tienen importancia en el
presente.

Los cuantificadores sirven para sacar información de cantidad. Los
cuantificadores en pasado son: THERE WAS (hubo, habia) en singular /
THERE WERE (hubieron) en plural.

Es un pronombre que se usa como un objeto en la oración. Lo usamos
después del verbo

11. FUTURE SIMPLE
11.1 STRUCTURE
El "future simple" está compuesto por dos elementos:
Sujeto + del auxiliar will + el “the active verb infinitive" + complemento
principal

12. PREFIXES
Los prefijos son letras que agregamos al comienzo de una palabra para
crear una nueva palabra con un significado diferente. Los prefijos pueden, por
ejemplo, crear una nueva palabra opuesta. Por ejemplo, el prefijo 'un-' se
agrega a 'feliz' para formar 'infeliz'. Los prefijos se adjuntan al principio de una
palabra para cambiar su significado.
Tenemos la palabra "feliz", al agregarle el prefijo "in", quedaría "infeliz" y
vemos que su significado cambio a opuesto de lo que era.
La unidad básica de cualquier palabra es la raiz. Si se quiere cambiar el
significado de la misma se le agrega un PREFIJO al inicio de la palabra.
12.1 PREFIJOS
• Son las partículas que se anteponen a las palabras, y que, además
cambian su significado. Un ejemplo es el prefijo - un, que delante de un adjetivo
o un adverbio niega su significado
12.2 EXAMPLE:
• correct - incorrect
• direct/indirect = directo/indirecto profitable - unprofitable
• grateful - ungrateful
• unhelpful poco servicial, inútil
• Potent - Impotent
12.3 PREFIJO UN
de tipo negación por causar sentido contrario al indicado por la raíz de la
palabra. Significa in, anti, poco. Se aplica a los adjetivos, sustantivos y verbos: •
--happy/unHappy = feliz/infeliz
• -faithful/unfaithful = fiel/infiel
Hay algunas reglas:
*Se usa IL en vez de IN en para palabras que empiezan con L:
• il + legal = ilegal
• -legitimate/illegitimate = legítimo/ilegítimo
*Se usa M en vez de IN en palabras que empiezan con M o P:

• im + polite - impolite *Se usa IR en vez de IN en palabras que empiezan
con R: ir + responsible = irresponsible.
• El prefijo - non niega el significado:
• non-alcoholic

EXAMPLE
He is unhappy with his uncle. // Él es infeliz con su tío.

SUJETO + del verbo "to have" (will have) el "past participle" del verbo
+ principal
14.2 EXAMPLES:
• I will have been here for six months.// Yo habre estado aqui por seis meses.
• By the time you read this I will have left. // para cuando leas esto, me habre
ido.
• You will have finished your report. // habras terminado tu informe .
• Will you have eaten when I pick you up?. // habrás comido cuando te recoja?.
ROLE PLAY

CONCLUSIONES
El verb modal may, modal auxiliary would, verb modal could son
verbos modales auxiliares del verbo es decir son complemento del
verbo, y dan sentido en una oración de igual forma existen similitudes en
las estructuras gramaticales y los verbos salen de la lista de los
infinitivos.

cuando se habla de dos o más entidades del mismo tipo.
11. Prefijos
Los prefijos son unidades léxicas que se anteponen a una palabra para
formar una nueva con un significado diferente.
12. Pronombres
Los pronombres son palabras o morfemas cuyo referente no es fijo sino
que se determina en relación con otras que normalmente ya se han nombrado.
Pragmáticamente se refieren con frecuencia a personas o cosas reales
extralingüísticas más que a sustantivos del contexto.
13. Presente
En general se utiliza el término presente para referirse al conjunto de
sucesos que tiene lugar en el momento del habla o a la acción presentada en
tal momento.
14. Cuantificador
Palabra que cuantifica a otra, como los numerales o ciertos indefinidos.
