MARCO CONCEPTUAL, INFORMACIÓN, EJEMPLOS


 PRESENT SIMPLE
Usualmente se utiliza para expresar acciones rutinarias y repetitivas en el tiempo. Ejemplo:
Affirmative Negative
I wake up early every day. I don’t wake up late.
You go to school by bus. You don’t go to school by taxi.
He wakes up early every day. He doesn’t wake up late.
She goes to school by bus. She doesn’t go to school by taxi.
Nota: Recuerda que en la tercera persona (he, she, it) hay que añadir s, o es al verbo y en las oraciones
negativas utilizar doesn’t para la tercera persona y don’t para las demás personas.

 PRESENT CONTINUOUS
El presente continuo se forma con el verbo be y la forma –ing del verbo principal. Se utiliza para describir
acciones que están sucediendo al momento de hablar. Ejemplo:
Affirmative sentences Negative sentences
I am running in the park. I am not running in the park.
You are running in the park. You are not running in the park
He/She/It is running in the park. He/She/It is not running in the park.
Questions:
Am I running in the park? Yes, I am. / No. I’m not.
Are you running in the park? Yes, you are. / No you aren’t.
Is he/she/it running in the park? Yes, he / she is. / No, he / she isn’t.
Are we running in the park? Yes, we are. / No, we aren’t.
Are they running in the park? Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t
