COMPARATIVES AND SUPERLATIVES

El comparativo se usa en inglés para comparar diferencias entre los dos objetos. Para formar un
comparativo con ADJETIVOS CORTOS, solo agregamos -er than al adjetivo, por ejemplo:

HIGH  HIGHER THAN

Para formar un comparativo con ADJETIVOS LARGOS, agregamos - more ___ than al adjetivo, por
ejemplo:

BEAUTIFUL  MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN

This box is smaller than the one I lost.

Your dog runs faster than Jim's dog.

Patrick is more beautiful than Susan.

El superlativo se usa en inglés para destacar a un objeto, persona o animal entre cualquier otro. Para
formar un superlativo con ADJETIVOS CORTOS, solo agregamos -est al adjetivo, por ejemplo:
 HIGH  THE HIGHEST

Para formar un comparativo con ADJETIVOS LARGOS, agregamos -the most al adjetivo, por ejemplo:

BEAUTIFUL  THE MOST BEAUTIFUL

This is the smallest box I've ever seen.

Your dog ran the fastest of any dog in the race.

This is the most beautiful flower I have seen in years.
