CONCEPTUALIZACIÓN

THE FUTURE TENSE

SIMPLE In this time we use like auxiliary will before main verb, in the negative form will not or
won´t. (En este tiempo usamos como verbo auxiliar will antes del verbo principal , en la forma negativa
won´t )
It is used when we decide to do something at the time of speaking. Offering to do something. (Se usa
cuando decidimos hacer algo al tiempo de hablar, para ofrecer hacer algo).

EXAMPLE: I will play chess at my high school on September (Jugaré ajedrez en mi colegio en
septiembre)

Affirmative –My father will buy a new car next year (Mi padre comprará un carro nuevo el próximo año)

Negative-We won´t travel to Europe next month (No viajaremos a Europa el próximo mes)

Interrogative Will your teacher explain all exercises? (¿Su profesor explicará todos los ejercicios?)

Wh question Where will you study next year? I think that, I´ll study in this same high school

¿Dónde estudiarás el próximo año? Pienso que estudiaré en este mismo colegio
“BE GOING TO”- we use it when we have already decided to do something( Lo usamos cuando
nosotros ya hemos decidido hacer algo, es decir ya está planeado) Se llama Futuro próximo.

Example:

Affirmative: I´m going to have lunch at one o´clock p.m. ( voy a almorzar a la una de la tarde en punto)

Negattive: I am not going to have lunch at 1:00 p.m (No voy a almorzar a la una en punto de la tarde)

Interrogative: Are you going to have lunch at 1:00 p.m? (¿Vas a almorzar a la una en punto de la tarde? )

Wh Question When are you going to have lunch? At one o´clock p.m or I´m going to have lunch at 1:00
p.m
(¿Cuándo vas a almorzar? a la una en punto ------------- short form -----forma corta
-(voy a almorzar a la una de la tarde en punto)-----------------Long form-----forma larga

 2. Escriba las palabras en el orden correcto, forme las oraciones y tradúzcalas. Mire el primer ejemplo

3. Traduzco las siguientes oraciones

d. We are not going to lose this homework, because we do exercises very well.
