*Aunque no podamos practicar el speaking por internet, si que debemos

tenerlo en cuenta para que no te pille por sorpresa.
PART 1
LA PRIMERA PARTE SON PREGUNTAS BSICAS ACERCA DE TI; te mando
algunas para que las tengas en cuenta, si quieres lo que puedes hacer es
escribir lo que contestaras, debes tener en cuenta que no te debes
enrollar mucho, suelen ser preguntas para contestar en unos 20
segundos.
PART 2

Compare and contrast Te suena, verdad? La famosa parte en la

que te muestran dos fotos y tienes 1 para compararlas y
contrastarlas. NO se trata de describir fotos, sino de comparar 2 fotos
y contrastar, es decir, especular, hacer hiptesis, etc. Una vez que t
terminas, a tu compi le hacen un par de preguntas, 30.
Cuando te crees que has terminado, te tocan 30 para comentar
sobre las fotos de tu compaero. Y esto es como en los atascos,
siempre te crees que al de al lado le ha tocado el carril buenohasta
que te toca a ti comentar sus fotos jajaja.
DOS CONSEJOS MUY TILES
Pueden ser tiles para mejorar tu expresin oral en cualquier caso,
pero para esta parte del examen ms que dos consejos son dos cosas
necesarias para demostrar que tu nivel es alto:
1. Mezcla tiempos verbales: pasado con futuro.
Hechos (pasado) con opciones de hacia dnde va la accin (futuro)
2. Utiliza expresiones para indicar especulacin:
might, could, may be, perhaps, probably
might have just, could have just

EXPRESIONES TILES/FRASES HECHAS
Antes de meterme en faena, que te quede clarsima una cosa: slo
van a escucharte el long turn UNA vez.
Qu quiero decir con esto? Que aunque a base de repetir y ensayar,
te parezca que eres inaguantablemente pesado y repetitivo, la prueba

la vas a hacer 1 vez (o al menos, no ms de una por examen) As que

olvdate de dejar esta parte a merced de tu capacidad de
improvisacin: nervios, tripa revuelta, presin por la pasta invertida o
porque necesitas el ttulo para optar a ese puesto de trabajo
realmente crees que ests en las mejores condiciones para que te
surja una improvisacin de Oscar?
Recuerda que la mejor improvisacin es la
adecuadamente preparada.
1. Forma elegante de empezar
As youve said, these pictures show people (explica lo que tienen
en comn las fotos) and Im going to talk about the picture showing
(menciona algo que describa mnimamente la primera foto que elijas)
and the one showing (dem de la segunda que elijas)
2. Expresiones
Por favor, por favor y por favor, mucha atencin a las preposiciones.
Como digo siempre, keep it simple. Ms vale simple y bien, que
querer complicarse y cagarla.

EL TRUCO ESPECIAL

Tienes 1 para hablar, parece poco tiempo, pero hacen falta 6 frases
de 10 segundos para llenarlo. Bueno, 6 frases yNO pararse!! As que
vamos a trabajar muy bien una plantilla de 6 frases y convertir esta
parte en un fill in the gaps oral.
Cuando tienes las 3 fotos delante, siempre hay un punto en comn
dentro de las diferencias, que por eso tienes que comparar y
contrastar. Adems, normalmentese pueden dividir en 2 grandes tipos
de grupos de fotos.
Grupos de personas realizando una actividad: ocio, deporte, relax.
Individuos en situaciones que, por su dificultad, requieren un talento
o una motivacin especial.
CASE 1: grupo realizando una actividad
Frase 1: qu muestran las fotos
These three pictures show people (elige a/b/c segn proceda y
completa segn lo que muestren las fotos)
a. related to: the music world
b. involved in: relaxed environments
c. in different situations that require
one way or another
Frase 2: describir primera foto
Im going to talk about this picture showing (elegir a/b/c y completar
con brevsima descripcin de lo que estn haciendo)
a. a very much excited group of
b. what might be a family
c. a person carefully (doing whatever)
Frase 3: especular acerca de la primera foto
It seems to me that they are feeling more than:
a. proud of being part of the group
b. worried about what might be a project

Frase 4: pasamos a la segunda foto

As well, this picture attemps to show (a/b y completar con la accin):
a. a middle-aged (wo)man doing
b. a group of elated children doing
Frase 5: especulacin sobre la seguna foto (esto es para que veis
que no solo in Spain la especulacin manda). Os dejo otros ejemplos:

engaged in the reading / They seem to be more than pleased chilling
out
Frase 6: una forma contundente para dar tus conclusiones podra ser:

CASE 2: Skills
Frase 1: entradita elegante

to be very skilful in the area in question
Frase 2: dem case 1 pero con vocabulario de esta temtica.
Im going to talk about this picture showing (a/b/c):
a. a highly talented young gymnast
b. an expert worker cleaning carefully a crown
c. a highly qualified shop assistant
Frase 3: en este caso meto vocabulario especfico de skills
It seems to me that for raching a master level in this area you must
have been:
a. practising every day
b. working hard and focused
during quite a lot of time.

Frase 4: dem case 1. Usar la que corresponda de las (a/b/c) que os he

puesto para la Frase 2.
Frase 5:especulacin de la segunda foto
He/She must have been
(aqu meter a/b que no hayamos usado de la Frase 3)
for too long. Otherwise it would be highly unlikely to become such

Frase 6: vamos a por una conclusin de nota.
