Comentario
Sensibilidad:
70-95%
en
miastenia
generalizada y 50-75% en miastenia ocular.
No hay correlacin entre
niveles y
severidad clnica
No especficos. Sensibilidad 90% si hay
presencia de timoma y 30% sin timoma.
Presencia en el 10-15% de los pacientes.
Presencia de sntomas bulbares y oculares,
menor respuesta teraputica.
Asociada a presencia de timoma, ms
frecuente en miastenia de inicio tardo.
Sensibilidad del 70% en pacientes con
timoma.

La
sensibilidad
de
las
pruebas
de
electrodiagnstico varan entre
30% para
miastenia ocular y 79-84% para miastenia
generalizada, con una especificidad del 91[15]
99% , permitiendo realizar el diagnstico
diferencial con el sndrome de Eaton-Lambert.

diferentes,
cuantificando 20 pares de unidades motoras. Se
considera anormal cuando ms del 10% de pares
de potenciales exceden el valor del Jitter normal
o cuando hay bloqueo de impulso. Esta tcnica se
puede realizar en el msculo frontalis o en el

voluntaria . Siempre es necesario ajustar los
filtros dependiendo del tipo de electrodo de
aguja, teniendo en cuenta que diferentes
estudios han demostrado la posibilidad de utilizar
agujas
concntricas
de
electromiografa
convencional. Si se utiliza aguja concntrica los
filtros deben cambiar a 2000-10000Hz para
eliminar la actividad de msculos distantes.
