2. Let’s read:

The Lord of Miracles

The story goes that in the middle of the century
XVII the blacks of Angola were located in
Pachacamilla and one of the Angolans painted on a
wall the precious image of Christ. It so happened
that on November 13th in 1655 at 2:45 in the
afternoon a strong earthquake shook Lima that
brought terrible consequences; but great was the
surprise when the wall of adobe with the image of
Christ remained in foot, no scratch.
It was from there that the people of Lima began to
make many petitions to the Lord, besides the
people commented that she had been healed of
many evils and the faith towards the image grew
day a day.
So they made an oil copy of the image and from
there, for the first time. They went out in
procession on litters through the streets. The
procession was established every 18 and 19
October of each year. Currently also comes out
October 28.
