Time Procedures

Previous INTRODUCTION:
Knowledge  Ask ss: what do you know about Canada? Elicit some information
Motivation  Ask: do you think life in the UK and in Peru are the same? How are they different?

 What particular information can they find in the reading?

Practice PRACTICE MOMENT:

 Tell the ss they can use might/could to speculate before they read anything in the book.
 Give ss some time to see the pictures and read the questions before they listen to the audio
 Some ss can answer the questions from memory, play the listeining again after they tried to complete by their own.
 Explain the idiomatic expressions in spoken English
 Set some time for ss to complete the quiz
 Point there are no correct answers for the reading introduction
 Ask them to read quickly and not to worry about every word
 Explain the per cent symbol as well

Evaluation EVALUATION:
Homework  Ask ss to circle all the numbers they see and check if they understand am or pm.
Metacognition  Focus on the pronunciation and make them mention their family routines
