Simple present
Negative form / Forma negativa
Para formar oraciones negativas en inglés, es necesario que utilicemos la ayuda del verbo auxiliar do y del auxiliar
negativo not.
El verbo do cambia de forma según el sujeto (o pronombre) con el que se conjugue, así:
Conjugación de Do y Does
Forma interrogativa del presente simple.
Por ejemplo:
Jose does not (doesn't) drink coffee.

José no bebe café.
We do not (don't) practice our English lessons.
Nosotros no practicamos nuestras lecciones de inglés.
También tienes la posibilidad de contraer el verbo auxiliar con el auxiliar negativo. Recuerda poner siempre la comilla ( ' )
entre las consonantes n y t:

Para las oraciones que se formulan de esta manera, también será necesario utilizar el verbo auxiliar do, pero ubicado al
inicio de la oración:
Forma interrogativa del presente simple.
Por ejemplo:
Does Jose drink coffee?

¿José bebe café?
Do we practice our english lessons?
¿Nosotros practicamos nuestras lecciones de inglés?
Ten en cuenta que también puedes formar oraciones interrogativas – negativas, bien sea de forma larga o corta aplicando
la contracción del verbo auxiliar con el auxiliar negativo:
Does not (Doesn't) Jose drink coffee?

¿José no bebe café?
Do not (Don't) we practice our English lessons?
¿No practicamos nuestras lecciones de inglés?
Would
es un verbo modal, y por lo tanto no cambia para la tercera persona del plural (I would, She would...) y el verbo que le
sigue siempre va sin to.
Afirmativa
Solemos contraer would y ponerlo como una d con un apóstrofo. En este caso se pronuncia como una d normal y
corriente. Por ejemplo, I'd sería /áid/.

I'd (I would) like a coffee.
Querría un café.
Negativa
Wouldn't es la forma contraída de would y not, que se usa muchísimo más que la forma sin contraer. Se pronuncia /u-
udnt/.

A ella no le gustaría.
Interrogativa
Y en preguntas, would funciona como un auxiliar y se coloca al principio del todo.

 What: qué, cuál (para cantidades ilimitadas). Por ejemplo: What are you doing right now? / ¿Qué estás haciendo en

 Which: cuál, qué (para cantidades limitadas). Por ejemplo: Which one do you prefer, the blue one or the red one? /
¿Cuál de los dos prefieres, el azul o el rojo?
 Where: dónde. Por ejemplo: Where do you live? / ¿Dónde vives?
 When: cuándo. Por ejemplo: When were you born? / ¿Cuándo naciste?
 How: cómo. Por ejemplo: How do you get to school? / ¿Cómo vas a la escuela?
 Why: por qué. Por ejemplo: Why did he come? / ¿Por qué vino él?
 Who: quién. Por ejemplo: Who is the girl in the yellow dress? / ¿Quién es la chica del vestido amarillo?
 Whose: de quién. Por ejemplo: Whose bag is this? / ¿De quién es esa bolsa?
Modal verb can

El verbo can
(poder) es un verbo muy popular en inglés que se usa a menudo para hablar de habilidad o permiso. Por lo general, can se
emplea como verbo modal, lo cual significa que siempre se usa junto con un verbo principal. Sin embargo, can también
puede funcionar como verbo principal cuando significa enlatar. ¡Sigue leyendo para aprender más!

Conjugación de can
Antes de hablar del uso y significado de can en inglés, vamos a ver la conjugación de este verbo:

Ten en cuenta que can solo se usa en el presente. Para hablar de permiso o habilidad en otros tiempos, se suele usar be
able to.
A diferencia de otros verbos, la conjugación de los verbos modales (modal verbs

Can para expresar habilidad
Como ya se mencionó, can es un verbo modal que se usa junto con un verbo principal. En general, se usa para hablar de
habilidad y es parecido al verbo poder en español. Si quieres usar la forma negativa de can, puedes usar cannot
o su contracción can't
.

can, cannot o can't + la forma básica del verbo principal
Aquí hay algunos ejemplos de su uso:

Can para hablar de permiso

Además de emplearse para hablar de habilidad, can se usa para hablar de informalmente; para pedir o dar permiso en
contextos formales, se usa el verbo modal may
(poder). A pesar de la diferencia de significado, para los dos usos se emplea la misma forma que se mostró más arriba.

NARRATOR: The same legend, different ways of telling it, each country tells it in a different way. although the essence

WOMAN: Everyone talks about me being a hoax, the children grow up and ask questions... When are we going to get
married my love?
(The man looks at her angrily)
WOMAN: Speak... tell me when... we're getting married
MAN: Certainly they are deceptions... because I already have a wife and four children
WOMAN: NOO! (The woman falls to the ground and La Llorona… The man leaves, laughter sounds and the children
