Procesos bioquímicos
Resumen
Sight is one of the most important senses that we have, but it tends to fade over time,
trying to study the different components that we find in food, a good development of our
vision, in order to achieve a better perspective from the biochemical approach of the
food we eat.
Our eyes age over time, just like our body, but there are foods that can help keep them
healthy for longer and delay the aging of the eyepiece.
A diet lacking in essential nutrients can impair vision health, increase problems such as
dry eye syndrome, photophobia and, in the long term, increase the risk of eye diseases
such as cataracts, glaucoma and retinopathy, as well as conditions exacerbated by
pathologies. General like diabetes.
The human eye is a chemical factory, whose operation depends on the biochemical
transformation of a molecule -the retina- because it is essential for the functioning of
vision pigments. Food is digested and incorporated into the body, where we find the
physical and chemical substance so that its components can be absorbed.
From the biochemical approach, more could be investigated regarding how food
influences taking place in the cones, rods and photoreceptors of the retina of the eye.
