• ¿En qué consiste la actividad?

La actividad The City Of the Future consiste en la creación de un poster virtual o infografía
relacionado con su visión de la cuidad del futuro.

• Intermediate levels: RII 3001; 4001 & 4008

- How will cities in the future be different from those today?
Make predictions and comparisons about neighborhoods, mobility and public transport, buildings,
entertainment, etc.
Target linguistic features: future simple, used to, comparatives and superlatives.

• ¿Cuál es el propósito?
El objetivo de esta actividad es que describan y comparen cómo podría ser la cuidad del futuro a
diferencia de hoy, aplicando los contenidos lingüísticos aprendidos en el nivel.

• ¿Qué impacto tiene esta actividad en la nota de Remote Learning?

El puntaje a obtener por esta actividad es de 15 puntos; ello sumando al puntaje obtenido en el
resto de las actividades “Receptive skills”, se traducirán en la nota final del ítem Remote Learning (5
% de la nota final del curso).

• ¿Dónde y cuándo se realizará?

Esta actividad debe prepararse en grupos y se realizará fuera del horario de clases y para ellos
deberán organizarse en grupos de 3-4 estudiantes. Una vez creada la infografía o poster virtual,
deberán compartirlo en Canvas, en el link que el/la docente a cargo del curso les comparta.
Finalmente deberán compartir una pequeña explicación de su trabajo (2-3 mins max), el día señalado
para ello.

¿Qué necesito hacer para completar la actividad?

Dependiendo de la estructura verbal utilizada en la pregunta asignada a tu nivel de curso, deberás

responder con oraciones que describan el contenido esperado utilizando dicha estructura verbal.

El material de apoyo que se incluirá en el poster virtual /infografía debe ser acordado y creado por el
grupo y debe tener relación altamente conectada con los mensajes que se entregan.
Considere los siguientes pasos para preparar su video.
1.- Organicen grupos de tres o 4 estudiantes.
2.- Lean las directrices y conversen sobre el tema que deberán presentar.
3.- Busquen y organicen información que apoye las ideas a exponer.
4.- Preparen un esquema para organizar su poster virtual o infografía.
5.- Preparen la breve explicación de su trabajo ( 2-3 mins max). Todos los y las integrantes del grupo
deben participar.
6.- Súbanlo al link entregado por el /ladocente a cargo del curso.

¿De qué forma se evalúa?

El profesor utilizará la siguiente rúbrica para evaluar los poster virtuales o infografías de los distintos
grupos, incluida la explicación que presenten en clase.
